Over priced, under staffed. More about presentation than food. If one doesn't speak french what one orders, gets is a crap shoot.

We had lunch here last weekend and we were astonished by how poor the experience was, given the other reviews. Everything was just terrible! It's a place where you seat yourself, which makes no sense whatsoever especially on a Saturday at lunchtime when the whale boat gets back to town. The tables are uncomfortably close together, to the point where... More

After reading mixed reviews, we entered at dinner time expecting good (not great) food and slow service. To our delight we had excellent service, phenomenal food and wine, and lovely music provided by a live pianist and cellist. PROS: - Small but interesting wine list. We opted for an Ontario Riesling ($60) that was crisp and perfectly complimented our meals.... More

We had lunch on the patio. This food was quite good and the service was friendly and efficient. the patio does not overlook the fjord, but it nevertheless quite nice.

My friend and I went here for lunch and it looks more fancy at dinner based on the traveler photos. Anyways, the place is easy to find and the ambiance nice and casual during lunch. The food was good, 3.5 out of 5. I ordered calamari while my friend had the mussels. The ingredients are fresh and good but didn't... More

Looked quaint so thought we would have breakfast here. Arrived just before 11am. Waitress came to bring us menus and water. Another waiter came to take our order within the next couple of minutes and we then proceeded to wait and wait for our order. We only ordered fried eggs! Took nearly an hour for the food to arrive! Food... More

Upon checking into our B&B (Le temps d'une pause), we asked the innkeeper for restaurant recommendations. Right away, she mentioned that her daughter, Mireille, ran a very nice restaurant in town, and we thought "Great, no bias here." But when we walked by it, it looked very charming, and the atmosphere seemed more welcoming compared to other places nearby. We... More

I feel like this restaurant has a hit/miss feeling. There were good things - and yet there were some things that were missing, and took away from the experience. The good: Kudos to the waitress for her assistance in reading the French menu. They had just switched the menu, so she gave us the previous menu in English, and pointed... More

The ambiance in this quaint house is great. The food was outstanding. Served by wonderful staff including the chef/owner's partner. There was a pianist that added to the atmosphere. Special that night (that we did not order) was a 20oz. steak from local farms that raise les vaches canadiennes. The desserts were to die for incl. a hollowed out log... More

Yeah a good place to dine/eat/relax. The food is ok. The portions somewhat small, waitingtime between the dishes a bit long and at the end not that special taste you expect. Everyone wants to eat here..i understand. Manly because the choice of good restaurants in Tadoussac is limited. We enjoyed it despite the little issues but not that high score... More
