We came here for lunch on Sunday 2/15. We were a party of seven, 4 adults and 3 children. Kids had pizza, we ordered sandwiches, . The poutine was good, albeit small portioned. I rarely write unpleasant reviews... but... We stopped here during Carnival after a long day of exploring Old Quebec, planning on grabbing hot chocolates for our family of four (3 French and 1 English Canadians from Montreal) and maybe some supper. We were seated quickly in a corner of the medium sized dining area and a guy who looked like... More

This place looked very cute, but the food was horrible and the service was even worse. There were many other tables complaining around us and apparently nothing was being done. The excuse that we got for waiting for our food was that there was a "shift change." Also, beware that you do not get free refills on iced tea! !... More

Granted we arrived during Carnival so the place was hopping busy - and I am sure that this place must be better at other times however ... when we arrived we were put at a table between two sets of friends who were either talking over our table or getting up to talk to each other. There was no coat... More

This little place had the best atmosphere and food to go along with it and the price was right as well. The servers, the owner, all were happy to see us and the other patrons and made the effort to make feel very welcome ... nice place to eat & relax !

We ate breakfast here on a very brisk February morning. We sat in the window, right in front of the heater, which felt fabulous! The food was okay. My husband had eggs, ham (which was a slice of deli ham), potatoes (not hand cut, probably frozen) and toast, and I had the crepes and bacon. As I said, the food... More

I've visited l'omelette on several trips to Quebec and have always had a positive experience. My kids especially love the french toast. I'm have eggs several times and today enjoyed the pea soup.

February in Old Quebec with the wind howling - L'Omelette was a welcome respite. Good coffee and a great breakfast

Ambiance was relaxing and in keeping with the neighborhood. Food was average. Service was good. I didn't know that the ham and cheese "sandwich" I ordered was going to be open-faced. Poutine was good. Partner had artichoke tomato omelette with a side of potatoes "cooked to perfection". We felt it I was a good cheap place to visit.

Small portions, eggs benedict...worst beschamel sauce. texture was strange taste was not quite like any I've ever had before... raw? but i was so hungry I ate it...made me sick for rest of the day. Was not worth the price. However the staff was friendly enough.
