We sat outside (promenade-no cars going by). Everything from the drinks to the excellent food was so enjoyable. All the servers were most friendly and efficient. This one of our favorite places to eat on our whole trip!

The Chef here really does some interesting things like smoking their own salmon in a honey type dressing. Four of us went to dinner and all had different choices and each was superb. An interesting soup of tomato and capsicums pureed with secret ingredients was a nice start. The beef I had was perfectly cooked and had nice sides with... More

So the weather was bit "oven-ish" during our stay but relented sufficiently in the evening so we could enjoy the patio seating. Our waiter was convivial and very prompt. We shared the bison carpaccio that was so pretty in its presentation , we were compelled to take a picture before digging in. Nothing but quality here and the flavour profile... More

We went to this restaurant for our first anniversary dinner, on our third night in Quebec City. This place was gorgeous - the old stone walls fit the atmosphere of Quebec perfectly, and it was located SO close to the Chateau where we were staying. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. We had the cheese fondue to start... More

My husband and I travel to Quebec City every November and alway have dinner here, usually on our first night. It is conveniently located it the heart of the old city, across the square for the Frontenac. The menu is quirky and eclectic with lots of local meats and fish. The food has always been delicious, and service is spot... More

My husband and I walked the streets of Old Quebec and found this really great outdoor restaurant for lunch. It was French cuisine at its best and my husband really liked his meal even though he is very fussy. He had the Bagette Classique and I had the Carrot Soup and Pogo meal with a chocolate desert witch was heavenly.... More

This was supposed to be a quality restaurant. I can't see how it got this reputation. The food was mediocre but very expensive. The worst part was the condescending attitude of the staff which bordered on being rude.

We ate dinner there this evening - our first night in Quebec. Once settled in our hotel we went to poke around the old town and find a place for dinner. We looked at several places but nothing struck our fancy until we stumbled across this place. The menu looked interesting and a bit different from some of the others... More

My wife, daughter (8) and I came here for a 7pm table and were delighted. The food was lovely - smoked bison; wonderful tomato fish soup; crispy halibut. Yum. And the service was also great, and family friendly. For instance, while we were having ice wine with creme brûlée an apple juice in a wine glass showed up so my... More

Right in the heart of the Historic District on rue Sainte- Anne, this cafe was recommended by our hotel desk clerk. We arrived for Sunday morning breakfast and were seated at a lovely table by an open window with a view. The menu was tempting with prices much less than those at surrounding restaurants. Our eggs benedict arrived perfectly done,... More
