Trip advisor was right! Had a fabulous dinner here per reviews. We would have walked right by if we had not seen the reviews. It's small and in tourist trap area.. We made a reservation Saturday morning for that night and they were very gracious with such late notice. The wait staff was attentive and our waiter's suggestions were perfect!!... More

It is a great location in the Upper Town. We had excellent scrambled eggs with toast made from excellent bread. The coffee was top quality. It is a charming space. You cannot go wrong.

Attentive wait staff, everything beautifully presented and some very interesting regional choices. Try to make a reservation for early Sunday morning - their buffet is famous but well attended by the locals so make your reservation well in advance.

Le Pain Beni has become a must for us to dine at while in Quebec City-great food and impeccable service in a charming, relatively quiet and relaxed setting. We were informed on this visit that they have recently changed the menu, we were a little wary at first since we loved everything on the previous menu so much. However there... More

Wow, what a review! Thank you so much. We want our customer to experience the best even when they have intolerance/allergies so we always manage to mix things up if necessary! Our Chef is so helpful with it. Thanks again and you are welcome back anytime you wish! Le Pain Béni Team :) More

We had breakfast here four days (included in the room of the Auberge) and two dinners and loved every meal, and we had great service every time--speedy and friendly. The food was freshly prepared, of excellent quality, and with wonderful presentation. We had none of the issues that some reviewers discuss. We love Le Pain Beni! It is very attractive... More

The waiter was so rude to us that we did not stay to eat. It was unacceptable and we left. We went next door to the St. Anne and had a wonderful lunch.

Our customer happiness is our number one goal here. As we wrote you, we investigated with our staff, it turns out that we only ask, politely, if you could take a seat to a table for two instead of a table for 4 as you we're only 2. We didn¹t want to rush you or be rude in any way!... More

We visited on our last day since it was next door to our hotel and we needed to check out....as mentioned in other reviews the service was slow and not very professional. The food was good but the menus was limited. A scrabble egg dish, eggs Benedict but with a duck confit sausage, a yogurt dish and a bread/muffin dish.....pretty... More

As a small family owned restaurant we are very attentive to our clients and their happiness. Thank you for your feedback! As you mention, the breakfast menu is intentionally limited to 8 dishes (1- Original and energizing smoothie, 2- handmade bread, muffin, pastry and jam, 3- Greek yogurt parfait, 4- Maple and cinnamon Pain Béni bread pudding, 5- Classic egg... I stopped here for lunch and enjoyed an excellent 3 course lunch for $25 (Canadian). The menu included 2 appetizer, 2 desert, and three entree options. I had a chopped chicken pate, a fabulous French adaptation of a pork tenderloin banh mi on fresh French bread. The service was casual (lingering encouraged) but attentive and efficient. I'd absolutely come back!
