We stopped for some wine at first. When we were seated at the bar they were so helpful with recommendations since the menu was in French. Thus they paired up a great white wine for my wife and a red wine for me with some great fresh warm bread and cheese spread. We only came in for wine but got... read more

After reading the menu on line I was a bit worried, but need not have been. A really enjoyable evening with food with wonderful flavours and friendly staff.

We had lunch here. I had the studded quail and my boyfriend had the chicken loaf. They were both very good!! The place is very nice and great service too. I wish I had tried their onion soup. Next time...

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, and my friend and I came to eat a light dinner after arriving in Quebec City after 8:00 p.m. We had the cheese fondue, and it was fabulous! We enjoyed it so much, we returned on our final night in Quebec and my friend had the fondue again! Servers were very helpful with... More

Out for a late morning walk we happened by and read the menu and decided to stop in for brunch. We were greeted with a warm welcome and seated favorably on the patio. The service was prompt and courteous. Nice bottomless hot cup of coffee and some unique menu choices made this a pleasurable experience. The Boston lettuce and beet... More

This chef certainly shows great passion in his offerings. Perfect for getting away from the all too common lamb shank or Bavette offerings in so many places. The menu is small which always shows that what is available will be above average. Each dish had a variety of ingredients with unique tastes. Each mouthful was an adventure for the palate.... More

Came for dinner w/out reservation, not a problem. Decided to try the tasting menu. Sat in the back by the mural of the street outside. Service was attentive, food was great. Especially loved the foie gras. Good selection of wines.

I visited here having read positive reviews on the site and the fact that it was close to where we were staying. The menu was interesting and the food of high quality with friendly service. The dessert was a real talking point. I had the bread and butter pudding with walnuts, ice cream and "cheddar". Yes, that's right, bizarrely the... More

This little restaurant's decor is as creative as it's cuisine. We only ate breakfasts here as it was included in our hotel package. The homemade bread and jam were wonderful! Ordered the Eggs Bennie which was very different. Can't say I loved the spice (anise or fennel perhaps?) in duck sausage but everything else was good. Worth a visit.

We had two dinners at this restaurant included in a hotel package; with so many great restaurants in Quebec, we weren't sure if we wanted to eat at the same place twice, but after the first dinner, we couldn't wait for the second one! Aside from the fact that the food was excellent, we really liked the chef's imagination and... More
