We traveled to Quebec City to spend a snowy Yuletide in the old walled town. Did it matter that it rained...a cold, biting, stabbing rain that made the sidewalks disappear into puddles and the snow turn to a mushy ice. Let's not mention the chilly, wet wind that blew through the old City off the St. Lawrence River. Out hotel... More

This little restaurant was attached to our hotel and we had breakfast here each day. Service varied but everyone was polite. Can't comment on the lunch or dinner menus but breakfast was good value without being exceptional cuisine.

Like all of the restaurants in the old Town, it's overpriced, but the food is good. We had the cheese fondue which came with lots of food. Definitely include the meat, it's worth the extra couple of dollars.

Le Pain Beni should be on everyone's "Bucket List" We had this restaurant reserved through Travelzoo and probably would not have chosen it because the menu was very different to what we normally choose. But we were extremely happy with the quality and flavour of the food. Everything was cooked to perfection. I chose something that was completely out of... More

My husband and I had a three course dinner here one evening in association with a Travelzoo voucher. My expectations were not high but I was very happy to find that the food served at Le Pain Beni is delicious and interesting. We ate some carefully thought out dishes- quail, for instance, was on the menu and it was delicious.... More

We went there because of good TripAdvisor reviews, and were not disappointed! Everything in the plates was modern and delicious, especially the deer tartare, perfectly seasoned. The service was warm and fun. We would happily come back.

My wife and I had the best meal at this cosy restaurant just in front of the Chateau Frontenac. the food is simply exquisite and presented without a flaw. the service is friendly but respectful and of a human level instead of being snobbish like in some restaurant with food of this quality. we reserved via their web site and... Lovely setting for a romantic dinner. The food was inventive and excellent. The service started slow but finished strong.

We chose this restaurant based on the recommendation of another couple. We got a late reservation after 830 in the evening. Our table wasn't quite ready when we got there and we were offered a seat at the bar. That should've been our first hint that things were not quite right on this evening. The food was truly excellent. The... More
