Unfortunately, it seems to be a trend in Québec City where you pay a whole lot for very little service, and more than average food... It was once more a disappointment at Café Sirocco. My friend and I took a Groupon offer that gave you a $40 discount applicable on a meal for 2. I took the Lamb tajine and... More

We kept returning to try more dishes, the Osso Buco was fantastic, best Fettuccine ever, and the fish and veal dishes we enjoyed our last night in Quebec were simply wonderful. I doubt you would be disappointed in any of the food served at this restaurant. The wait staff are pretty amazing also, especially Joyce, Patrick and the manager.

Sirocco is out of the tourist route in Quebec. But it worth visiting! It is a nice place, nice ambiance a good food. I tried a soup and ossobuco and it was excelent: tasty and with a good presentation. Don't miss it!

The regular printed menu (Engish version) did not include the daily specials (an insert in the French version), which is a shame since the souvlaki was excellent. We were there a few weeks ago Tues and Weds for an evening meal; it is probably quite noisy and busy Thu through Sat. The tapas are also excellent! They understand the requirement... More

THIS RESTAURANT FIRES ON ALL 12 CYLINDERS!!! First... the "braised veal osso bucco w/tomatoes". My wife ordered this dish because our waiter gave it high marks. We are usually suspicious when the recommendation is the most expensive on the menu, but at Cafe Sirocco this was only $28 CAD, so why not? From the beginning to the end it was... More

Always a great service, nice tapas and the location is great, on René-Lévesque, near Cartier and les Plaines... go for a walk in the beautiful city after meal! :)

Anyone who has been to Paris assumes that French-speaking people are snooty. Not in Quebec City and particularly not at Sirocco. While the restaurants in Quebec City are great, I really loved this one. When the waiter realized we did not speak French and were tourist, he quickly switched to fluent English and even offer to translate the entire dessert... More

This is a lovely restaurant with a very friendly staff and somewhat confusing menu. We tried five tapas (they are quite small, but priced accordingly) and only one was well done. The entrees were quite good though, as was dessert. Do keep in mind that with all of the glass and hard surfaces, it gets very loud upstairs, so no... More

This little jewel is in a bustling neighborhood of restaurants and bars a couple of blocks off the Rue Cartier. Besides a regular menu, they offered a large and varied tapas menu. The price was reasonable, and the quality was very good. It was good to be a bit off the beaten track and away from the popular tourist spots.... More

The restaurant had a special of their entire tapas menu for $25 (for 25 tapas). It was an excellent way to enjoy what this restaurant has to offer. I won't say we enjoyed every one of the tapas but it was a full range of foods and all were fresh, and well prepared. (For the record, between my wife and... More
