Worth the wait for a table!

We were lucky to find a window table with a not-too-long wait on a snowy day in December. Casse-Crepe Breton is a happy adventure from seeing the crepes made to enjoying their presentation (it's no wonder there are so many great pictures of them here), to the very pleasurable eating of them. Our breakfast here was amazing. The crepes are made fresh to order and you can choose your own ingredients or you can choose their recommended combinations. The crepes were large, full of ingredients, served fresh and hot and nicely presented. My crepe with swiss cheese and asparagus was delicious. We had a little table with a street view. Although the... More

This was our 1st crepe experience and we loved it. I had read the Trip Advisor review so we trekked to find this place and we were warmly greeted. The woman helped us understand the menu and explained the different options to us all in English. Mt husband had the seafood crepe that had shrimp, scallops and mushrooms. A nice... More

The fresh juice was amazing! We had our first introduction to crepes here and, while we loved the idea, the quality of the execution was only so so. I had a crepe filled with strawberries and had to pay a lot extra for whipping cream from a bag drowned in chocolate syrup. Not really worth it.

In old Quebec, everyone will tell you that this is the place for crepe. I expected it to be all touristy and crowded and expensive and it wasn't any of those things. We went at 2pm on a wednesday for lunch. We sat in the table by the window tucked away on the left. I had turkey and swiss and... More

As a tourist, it is perfectly situated in Old Quebec, but the ambiance, food and value for money are just mediocre. We ordered crepes with ham and cheese and another one with egg and spinach. I felt very unsure if the eggs were thoroughly cooked and the crepe itself was thick in consistency, closer to a pancake rather than a... More

We went in for crepes late morning but ended up with an Omelette and for one who couldn't have dairy, the Chef Salad with tuna was a good lunch size, and very filling. The omelette was prepared well; fresh ingredients. Again, they didn't have a dairy alternative to have a latte or anything. Basic beverages. Charming little place and friendly... More

We shared a dinner crepe full of cheese, onions, peppers, mushrooms and roast beef. We shared a raspberry desert crepe and we shared a litre of the house white wine. The entire bill came to $48 with the tax and half of that was the wine. A really decent meal and evening out. Great '70's tunes playing. Service was outstanding... More

Our lunch crepes were delicious so we had to come back for dessert. Chocolate, bananas, strawberries, Whipped cream YUM!! It was fun to watch the crepes being made right in the front of the restaurant.
