Fantastic poutine

I had poutine and salad but family had hamburgers and everyone enjoyed the food. A little pricey for a burger but better than most

Ok Ok its all true the burgers are great and huge and all the beer selection on tap is also very nice. The decor is nice etc... But 30$ for a burger and a beer? Its your money...you decide!

We arrrived around 8pm on our first night in Quebec City, being travel-weary and hungry, and this restaurant was the only place open that was near our hotel. What a gem of a place! Atmosphere was wonderful and lively. The menu was entirely in French, but our extremely helpful waitress could speak English and translated the whole menu for us.... More

My daughter found this restaurant in Yelp, when we were vacationing in Quebec City. What a stroke of luck. It was so good we went back 2 nights. The first night we went to the location near the train station. The next night we went to the location on Rue Saint-.Jean. The food and service was great in both. The... More

This is a cute place with amazing burgers! My friend and I popped in for lunch and we were instantly welcomed by the lovely waitress. The decor is simple and you feel comfortable. Both our burgers were delicious, served with a mountain of fries and your choice of mayo based sauces. The only downside for my friend was that you... More

Travelled w/my vegetarian husband and gave Chez Victor a try based on others' reviews. It was a wonderful little restaurant, great options for veg and non-veg alike, and friendly waitstaff. Creative burgers and overall a good dining experience outside of the main tourist area.

There used to be only one Chez Victor. The original restaurant at the beginning of rue St-Jean was the best burger joint in the city back in the '90s and still is. I've tried all the burgers over the years and they're all deliciuous. Ah, yeah, the Club Sandwich is also a sure bet...

Got to the restaurant early on a Friday evening as we were told it was a popular place. We were lucky to get one of the last unbooked tables. The restaurant was full and the atmosphere was great. Very friendly staff who helped us non French speakers with menu explanations. The meal was excellent and the portions were very generous.

We stopped in here for a early dinner/late lunch on our first day in Quebec City. Although a little difficult to find it was certainly worth it. The burgers are amazing, awesome selection and a burger of the day special which you can choose from too. The portions are huge with so many fries with it but they all taste... More

Came here for business, checked-in to my hotel (Delta Quebec City- to be followed ) and asked the concierge where to eat? I have been on the road all week and wanted some good pub fare and hopefully homemade. He suggested Chez Victor on St-Jean in Old Quebec. I walked about 10 minutes from the hotel and thought I was...
