I picked this place to take my boyfriend out for his birthday and it was a great choice! It was very quiet (only one other group) when we went but that's a given, since it was Wednesday. The food all came promptly, which was great. The place is cozy and I liked how it was decorated. We were seated in... More

not a great wine list, not exceptionally great food. However, the atmosphere, the attentive service and the VERY reasonable priced dinner menu made us extremely satisfied. This was by far the most satisfying meal we had in the old town. One note, entrecote is pretty good compared to the chicken.

We had a wonderful meal for my wife's birthday at Bistro Sous Le Fort. Food was good. I had a chicken breast wrapped in philo dough with spinach and brie. OK but not terrific as it tasted a little dried out. My wife had two appetizers, salad which was good and a melted brie with rum, pecans etc. which was... More

Stopped in for a quick bowl of soup on a surprisingly chilly afternoon in late March and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Friendly, prompt service and a cozy dining room with fire blazing. We had the onion soup and it was delicious. Cheap, too! Highly recommended.

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 children - ages 11 and 13) celebrated New Year's Eve here. Great atmosphere and great service. We all enjoyed our meals and would definitely visit again. We also all loved the decor. They even gave our kids little treat bags before we left - very nice added touch!

Enjoyed a pleasant meal in the lower town of Old Quebec. Its a small restaurant, with only about 20 seats. The hotel made us a reservation, but as it turned out, it wasn't full. We had very pleasant service. I thought the Table d'hôte was good value- 3 courses for $25. Food was tasty, service was good. I would visit... More

This is a bistro in the lower portion of old Quebec. We were there on a cold, snowy day. The restaurant, though not packed, had quite a few tables occupied. There was only one server and he was pretty amazing. He kept the place humming and everyone entertained. The food was good, but the service was the best! It is... More

My wife and I had a fantastic dinner here on March 10, 2014. We started with a French onion soup each, which was exellent. Then, upon the waiter's recommendation, we shared the duck plate for two. This included duck spring rolls, duck sausage, duck rillettes and duck confit. It was a great dish! The waiter, Raphael, provided the absolute best... More

From the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out, we had an incredible experience. Raphael was amazing. The complimentary maple liquor was a great way to end the night. Thank you TripAdvisor for helping us find this neighbourhood gem!

What a fantastic way to end the weekend. Had we eaten here first, our expectations for the rest of the trip would have been too high. The food was the best we had, made better by a fantastic waiter. I hope the owners appreciate Raphael. We visit Quebec City every couple of years and we will make sure to return.... More
