We went with our two very young children, and while the restaurant appears a bit more upscale, the staff went out of their way to make my children smile and laugh. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced for the quality. We went back a second night.

I had the best poutine in this restaurant. Steak frites was juicy and satisfying. Service was friendly and efficient. The ambience was warm and cozy. Their wifi was real fast too. Pricing was competitive (Quebec City restaurants aren't cheap) but worth every cent in this restaurant.

We had dinner here in early September. I had the leek, goat cheese pistachio quiche which melted in my mouth. My husband had steak and enjoyed it. I wish they did long-distance take out.

Looking for a quick bite, I stopped here because it looked inviting and easy. I was blown away by the service. Travelling on my own without my husband, the waitress was so helpful, kind, and appropriately attentive. I ordered the Quiche on her recommendation. It was fresh, hot, and delivered toute-de-suite! The location, ambience and service were excellent. Don't overlook.

On our recent stay in old Quebec, the Bistro Sous le Fort was recommended to us at the Marriott. We were there with another couple and each of us had something different. We had the Chaud et fondant as a starter which was Brie with a rum sauce and maple syrup topped wit pecans Everybody really liked what we they... More

My friend and I saw this restaurant while walking in the lower city. We quickly checked the ratings and saw it rated highly. We got a table on the patio and were soon entertained by Raphael - waiter extraordinaire! We enjoyed a lovely dinner: shrimp tempura style and fish and chips. Wonderful to sit outside and enjoy the nightlife on... More

Came here for dinner on a rainy evening and sat on the patio which had a canopy. I ordered the Table D'Hote which came with a Escargot and Bacon Stew, Chicken Supreme & Camembert Sauce, and a Chocolate Raspberry Trifle. I really enjoyed the stew, the chicken was average and the dessert was delicious. My partner ordered the Venison Steak... More

We stopped there for a quick lunch on Labor Day while visiting old Quebec and we were nicely surprised. My husband had the rillettes baguette and I had the burger both served with fresh salad and crispy frites. Service was great and staff very attentive. We definitely recommend it.

This charming bistro is located steps from the funicular and is a great spot for lunch. Our waitress was delightful and charming and the food was excellent. I had sweetbreads and my husband had fish and chips -- both were great. It is a perfect location for people-watching!

Went to this French restaurant with a few friends for dinner. It is located at the center of the attractions. The service was good, restaurant's interior was simple and cozy! There were quite a lot of choices for set dinner, which included a starter, a main dish and dessert. The portion of dishes were unexpectedly large! I've ordered onion soup... More
