Good food & Fun Experience

Our greeting and dining experience regarding our waiter was one reason that Le Fort was a good night out. Our appetizer's were Escargot & French Onion soup both very tasty, I had the Duck Confit that I thoroughly enjoyed, Liz had the Steak which was standard fare. While walking around this neighborhood we came across Bistro Sous le Fort and are very pleased that we had lunch here. The restaurant is small, seating about 30 people, but bright and airy with a pleasant modern decor. The menu has something for everyone – four of us enjoyed bison burgers, salmon with a citrus sauce, and fish and chips.... More

This was in a wonderful location to stop for lunch when shopping in Lower Town. They served a nice variety of food including a delicious Elk Burger.

Chose the Bistro based on reviews, and its location in the unbelievably cute neighborhood of Petit Champlain. We were very happy- the decor is minimal and modern, the food delicious and well-presented. The menu was mostly French classics ( I had sweetbreads), but with a lighter touch- everything was very fresh and colorful, and not over-sauced or over-cooked. My teen... More

It was rainy and cold, and my family of 4 can never agree on a place to eat. It's even harder when we are in a country where we don't speak or read the language, each person has their own individual eating hang ups, and we are all overtired from schlepping around Montreal and QC for days. We were looking... More

We arrived to Quebec City at around 6pm and came to find out everything closed early but we were hungry and decided to explore the town for some food. We came across this restaurant because it seemed to be the only open at reasonable prices and ran into an amazing surprise. It was a small place but cozy and warm.... More

This was one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed out as a family. The service was superb and attentive without being intrusive. The menu was varied and the food was incredibly delicious. We all loved the brie with rum, pistachios and maple syrup we shared to start. We all also thoroughly enjoyed our entrées and the desserts were to... More

The Elk burger is what caught my eye at this restaurant. We arrived around 6 pm without reservations and were seated without an problem, as mentioned in other reviews, this place is small with about ten tables. Raphael, the one and only waiter for the place the night we went, was very friendly and helpful explaining the choices available. I... More

We used TA to find this restaurant. Reservations are recommended. We reserved for a Saturday night and a good thing we did - people were turned away. We had the Table d'hôte du Soir with a "gateau reine Elizabeth" for dessert. The service was excellent, the supper simply delicious and the ambiance terrific. An aperitif (gin & tonic for him...
