We were lucky, we had a paired dinner that was out of this world. Fois gras, venison and chocolate wafer with pistachio ice cream, all paired with lovely cocktails. Breakfast was spot on - ask for a late 'boule' best way to start the day. Execution and staff were flawless!!

We stayed at the St. Antoine; had dinner on L'Artefact and breakfast in La Panache (same kitchen). L'Artefact offered an excellent Table de Hote in a dress down setting The food was of excellent quality and great value. As were the matching wines. But the highlight was a two=person jazz duo - if you closed your eyes you would believe... More

We booked lunch here, as we were interested in possibly staying at the Auberge. While the food was excellent (foie gras appetizer, fish / veal sweetbreads, profiteroles - prix fixe), I was not as impressed by the 5* hotel section. I think I prefer my favourite, Chateau Frontenac. Service was excellent also - we were seated at a cozy table... More

Lunch at Panache was one of the highlights of our recent Quebec city trip. The atmosphere in the historic building, combined with the fine regionally-inspired cuisine and comfortable, very professional service made for a really enjoyable experience. We will definitely return. I recommend making a reservation and setting aside enough time to relax and enjoy.

We had three meals here during our New Years' stay. The New Years Dinner was impeccable. The following morning we had a plated brunch. We had breakfast on the third day. Although they were very busy, the service was excellent. The food was amazing as well.

Panache was recommended by a local and did not disappoint. It's located in a hotel built on an old glass manufacturing site and there are displays throughout the lobby of the glass pieces which have been excavated. I really enjoyed seeing the displays with the dates of manufacture, an interesting view into the past. The restaurant itself is beautiful, quietly... More
