This restaurant was built in a restored warehouse building in Old Quebec. The interior has the old brick walls and exposed wooden beams at the ceiling. The restaurant also has great river views. The breakfast menu is varied but I ordered the signature Panache breakfast with poached eggs on top of strips of duck and spinach. Very tasty! For dinner... More

We stayed at the hotel over a long weekend and enjoyed one dinner and a couple of breakfasts at Panache. Everything was excellent! For our dinner, we tried the turnip appetizer - which looked interesting on the menu - and turned out to be out of this world. Our entrees were the sole and the halibut. Both were absolutely perfect!... More

We celebrated our anniversary here and could not have chosen a more intimate setting. Nestled into a banquette table by the fire, it was inviting and comfortable from the onset. Following cocktails, I selected the Chef's choice - a four-course dinner selected by the chef and was extremely pleased with each course. My husband selected a filet of beef and... More

Wow. This stunning restaurant deserves top-ten treatment in Quebec! The exposed beam, farmhouse interior is quite warm and inviting. The attentive, very professional wait-staff will see to your every need. Oh yes, and the food is outstanding. Our group had both the inventively-presented halibut and the exquisitely prepared rabbit. The only problem was that the food was so good, it... More

I had a mescalin salad with truffle vinaigrette, amuse bouche of fish with tiny edible flowers, steak, and 14 cheese potatoes. For desert I had pistachio sorbet with chocolate lava cake. Not sure what 14 cheeses were used, but the potatoes were awesome!

The room takes you back to the 17th century with great exposed beams, and a very warm feel. The food from the amuse-bouche to the desert was inventive, and just wonderful. If I ever get back to Quebec city this is a must visit.

I can not believe that this is not the #1 restaurant in Quebec! We are here on our last night in the city and we cannot believe we waited that long! Everything we had was amazing. The squash soup was out of this world. My husband had the half cooked foie gras and said it was the best he has... More

The cuisine emphasizes local products and recipes, each time a plate comes, it comes in three versions. I went there with my parents which are not the most adventurous in cuisine and they also thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the best restaurants in Quebec, enjoy !

The good: the host was friendly and seemed to love his job. The atmosphere was so quaint and rustic yet upscale. I loved the decor. My husband liked his main course of kale and Brussels sprouts. He was not overly hungry going to dinner. He found his meal tasty and different. The bad: my soup was a delicious cream based... More
