This restaurant is a hidden gem on the Rue Saint Paul. It is a small, cozy and intimate restaurant with an attentive and friendly staff to look after you. The food is of high quality and presentation. We ordered the Escargots on Flaky Pastry with Pastis which was excellent, followed by the Lemon Pie and the Chocolate Truffle desserts. Everything... This small restaurant deserves it's hoigh ratings. The setting is relaxed and friendly, and while small (maybe 12-14 tables) the menu choices are plentiful, and the food is wonderful. There is a table de hote (fixed price) menu of four courses, with sufficient choices for each course for everyone in our party to choose somethkng they liked, and also a... More

Loved it! We walked by the restaurant and admired the menu 3 days before we visited: that first night it was closed for a private party of 40+ (or was it 70?). Now, a month after our meal, we still remember well the food, ambience and attention we received. Unlike the busy Saturday night, we were the only table occupied... More

We arrived, hungry, before it was scheduled to open. The waiter seated us, served us a glass of wine. We ordered lamb and it was excellent. I had sweetbreads which were tender and tasty. The vegetable were beautifully prepared and tasty. Service exceptional, atmosphere very good. A real find. While a bit out of the way, it is worth the... More

we had lunch and the owner seated and served us - very attentive; 2 of us had the veal stew special, one the haddock, and one pasta with seafood and we all thought our meals were delicious. Prices were quite reasonable, so we enjoyed very good value.
