This is a special place and comes with a special price tag. We opted for the Discovery Menu and asked our waiter to pair wine with the courses, at half a glass each. It was a three hour delight! The food was great, unusual and well matched with wines we just savored. The only down side was at 10:30 our... More

My husband and I shared a wonderful evening at Le Saint-Amour. The ambience was lovely, and the food was delicious. I told the waiter that I had really hoped for a vegetarian entree, and he said they would prepare one, even though it wasn't printed on the menu. The dish that was placed before me was the most beautiful, most... More

We invited friends to dine with us at Le Saint-Amour. The restaurant was offering a special menu for the week: 3 courses for $50/pp that consisted in a tiny slice of foie gras (delicious), followed by thick pieces of warmed up veal (very hard) that had obviously been pre-cooked for the week then re-heated as needed. The 4 diners at... More

We only had 2 nights in Quebec City and made a reservation prior to our arrival in early October. We were delighted with a wonderful meal and lovely decor. We had the $63 pp Inspirational Menu. We added an order of Foie Gras and Brioche as that is the chef's specialty. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. The service was... More

We had been to this restaurant in 2004 & enjoyed our meal, so we brought some friends this time. The service was pretty bad - we ordered 4 drinks & only got 2, then after about 15 minutes we were finally able to find our waiter & ask for the other drinks. We were never offered bread, thought other tables... More

Dinner with my girlfriend at Le Saint-Amour was certainly memorable. Food was tasty and mouthwatering, the service staff a delight. Made a 9pm reservation on a Saturday night, and even on the busiest evening, we were sat within 30 minutes and waited on hand and foot but a large and efficient staff of waiters, bus boys, and sommeliers. Prior to... More

We were highly recommended to this restaurant by our concierge. We were seated in a side room that had many tables with small children.. we counted 10 in the room .. including one being breast fed... so we asked for another table or we could return later. A cancellation opened up a table in the main room. The dish I... More

We had one of the best restaurant experiences ever in this dining room. Spend the money and enjoy. We ate there 2 nights consecutively.

We visited this restaurant for the 50th anniversary of my in-laws. 9 family members flew to Quebec City from around the country for this celebration and my husband's parents chose Le Saint-Amour for their anniversary dinner. We all ordered the 4-course table d'hote menu. Our party included a vegetarian and a person with a severe nut allergy, and the chef... More

We both had the tasting meal and each course was delicious. I had veal and my husband had red snapper. Both were done perfectly. They have a 12,000 bottle wine cellar (We hear!), so something for every pallete and pocket book. All in all, a very enjoyable evening. We would definitely dine here again and highly recommend it.
