Overall a good experience and I would return. Pricey but you felt you got what you paid for. Foie gras was divine, the mushroom declination was fun to say and fun to eat and the lamb was, most importantly, a good cut of lamb. For my taste, the decor was over the top: loud, colorful and eclectic, like my gay... More

I recently paid my third visit to Saint-Amour, considered by many to be the finest restaurant in Quebec City. On my first two visits I agreed with this assessment, but after my most recent visit I'm not so sure. The service was not quite as attentive or accommodating as it was in the past. First, I wanted to try to... More

Le Saint-Amore has to be on your short list for dining when visiting Quebec City. The food is excellent and appeals to the eye when it arrives at your table. If you are looking for a way to enjoy this culinary experience, try the 7 course Discovery Menu. Expensive at $115 per person, especially since everyone at the table is... More

We have been to Quebec City three times and each time we go, we make reservations for dinner in their Winter Garden Room. The service is very efficient and friendly, with servers explaining every detail of the appetizer, entre and dessert plates. The presentation is exceptional as is the quality of the food. It is an expensive restaurant but a... More

Nice dinning room, service was attentive. My wife had creamy vegetable soup & I had duck confit which could have been a little hotter. We both had an omelet which was done very well. A half bottle of Tignanello. All at a great price.

This is a 5-star and though it is expensive, this restaurant is also "an experience". The decor is charming (blend of old world and new) - with space for a romantic dinner (but some people watching as well!). An entree was served (cream of tomato gazpacho with mussel) that was simply superb. The salmon tartar was wonderfully tender and flavorful.... More

We did the tasting and the food was fantastic. Lots of small gems and the kitchen was very open with altering the menu to vegetarian. Every course was just as good as the last. Fresh light but decadent at the same time (if that's possible). This was my favorite meal in Quebec City. The concierge recommended and said the guests... More

Wow is about all l can say about this classy restaurant. We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary in this fine French restaurant. Our waiter Jerome was top-notch, great interaction with any one who had the pleasure of having him wait on them. He helped us decide our menu and we went with the 9 course dinner paired with wine…exceptional. What... More

Excellent service, excellent menu, excellent execution, fabulous desserts. We spent more than I planned, but overall, it was worth it.

An interesting decor (not sure what vintage European, but "old world"; impeccable service (with a great sense of humour from our waiter); food of the highest standard. Expect to spend as a couple no less than a few hundred dollars with tip and some wine; but you won't regret it.
