This is one of the finest restaurants in which I have ever dined. The food is extraordinary, the wine list immense and the ambiance is just what you'd expect from an expensive restaurant. Try the rack of lamb with a foie gras appetizer.

I hadn't been to le Saint-Amour for several years so I was really looking forward to our visit. The restaurant has an excellent reputation and has been the object of much positive publicity since Sir Paul McCartney's visit a year or two ago. The service was impeccable and the waiter very helpful in finding a wine that suited me. The... More

Hands down, the best meal I have EVER had. Thrilling experience, delectable, unique and yet approachable food, and GREAT flexibility with dietary restrictions. What a special meal - I will NEVER forget it! Try the seafood consomme for a fantastic rich seafood and spices (saffron!) flavor with a light, clean finish. And BEST of all, the Bay of Fundy Salmon... More

We arrived very late my gf and I, and we asked them if we can film everything. They were more than happy to let us film (it was actually a timelapse with my gopro). The place is very romantic and quiet. Every staff member came to our table throughout our 7 services ''Menu Découverte'' to greet us, they were all... More

Visiting Quebec city for the first time, coinciding with a visit with my daughter and celebrating a birthday, Sainte Amour was the restaurant of choice to host this special occasion. From the shrimp appitizers to the filet and rack of lamb with the fois gras, ending with the cognac and creme brulee dessert, the food was spectacular. The artisans who... More

This restaurant was recommended by a friend. It was truly a unique, very enjoyable dining experience. The food was first rate, our waiter very engaging and our server was busting with personality. The busboy was a pleasant young man with a pleasant personality. How many restaurants have you been to where you can say the same? Oh, did I mention... More

That's where Sir Paul McCartney went for dinner when he came in Quebec in 2008 for the 400th anniversary of the City of Quebec. We go there sometimes and the experience is always fantastik, The Chef is Jean-Luc Boulay, a frenchmen. He's probably the best in town. A bit expensive but it's worth it.
