Based on TA reviews and those of a friend my wife and I dined here. Chose the daily tasting menu and a bottle of wine. Found the food to be tasteless and uninspired. Instead of eagerly anticipating each course, it soon got to be a desire to have it over and a sincere wish we had dined elsewhere. Service was... More

Went for our anniversary dinner at St Amour and we were not disappointed. Decor was elegant! Food was excellent with excellent presentation. Portions were acceptable. Service was absolutely excellent! An excellent choice for a special dinner!

We chose this restaurant based on recommendations from friends and Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. We went for lunch with elderly friends and, when I requested that the music volume be turned down, it was done promptly and without comments. The personnel was very attentive to our friends and discreet about it. Now the food ! Fabulous. The presentation was... More

Perhaps it is unfair to Saint-Amour to have gone there the night after we had the best meal of our trip at another restaurant the night before: it is a fine place, just not up to our experience elsewhere. We ate in the Atrium, which is beautifully decorated, and pleasant. We thought the service was unusually slow; the food was... More

It is the service and the experience that set this restaurant apart from many others. The food is also EXCELLENT, but the care taken by all of the service people are what make it very memorable. I believe we had 4 or 5 people who attended our table, but never once did I feel like we were being "watched". The... More

Le Saint-Amour lives up to its reviews. It is an outstanding French restaurant without the attitude. In fact my wife and I went to find the restaurant in the afternoon and a young lady unlocked the door and showed us around. We got to pick the room we wanted to eat in too! We started our meal with the terrine... More

A lawyer friend in Toronto recommended this restaurant to me and I'm pleased he did! We ate there last night and had the Discovery (tasting menu). The highlights of the meal, in no particular order were: 1. The foie gras. It came as a course with 3 different kinds, accompanied by a number of reductions. 2. The soup was spectacular.... More

Nice food and service if you can afford it...lots of extra charges on the menu and expensive wine list, but still worth the splurge.
