We did the tasting and the food was fantastic. Lots of small gems and the kitchen was very open with altering the menu to vegetarian. Every course was just as good as the last. Fresh light but decadent at the same time (if that's possible). This was my favorite meal in Quebec City. The concierge recommended and said the guests... More

Wow is about all l can say about this classy restaurant. We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary in this fine French restaurant. Our waiter Jerome was top-notch, great interaction with any one who had the pleasure of having him wait on them. He helped us decide our menu and we went with the 9 course dinner paired with wine…exceptional. What... More

Excellent service, excellent menu, excellent execution, fabulous desserts. We spent more than I planned, but overall, it was worth it.

An interesting decor (not sure what vintage European, but "old world"; impeccable service (with a great sense of humour from our waiter); food of the highest standard. Expect to spend as a couple no less than a few hundred dollars with tip and some wine; but you won't regret it.

We all had the "Inspiration" set menu which was reasonably priced but delicious. A wonderful soup, an amusing lamb dish and veal to die for. Inventive, beautifully presented and memorable. An extensive wine list which is expensive but it always seems to be so in Quebec with a wide choice of old and new world wines. First class service with... More

WOW! Just had to say that, as this dining experience rates in the top ten of my 72 years of dining experiences. The decor is charmingly subtle, the service is impeccable, and the food, oh, the food! The seared Foie-gras was divine, and next time, I'll order two! The wild squab was as wonderful as the appetizer, and I highly... More

Great food, in Europe it would definitely have a Michelin star, while the prices weren't Michelin-like: very reasonable ! Very nice atmosphere, we were placed under the central tree (inside): cosy ! Impeccable and friendly service. When you go, do have a dessert - best desserts ever tried, thanks to the chef pâtissier Eric Lessard.

I will never be able to admitt to my family what we paid for this dinner, though it was a heavenly experience. The lamb entree outmatched the scallops by a long shot, however. The scallops were actually prettier than they were tasty. The lamb was perfect in every way. What really draws us to Saint Amour though is the Fois... More

Overall the only disappointing dining experience for 9 days in Canada. Place is too pretentious and stuffy (not really romantic). It has adequate for a high end restaurant service but just came across artificial (at least from the main server). Food is a hit or miss - we had the 7 course discovery menu and only 2 of the dishes... More
