The room is a nice place to spend a weekday lunch. The food was good just not great. Nothing to really fault other than the fact that they have so much competition in Quebec City with incredible restaurants that it may be hard to impress. You can't fault the prices for what you get and we enjoyed out meal but... More

Not only is this beautiful, the service is extraordinary, and food out of this world! It is such a treat to tour this lovely building, see the amazing gardens which include vegetables and herbs used in the restaurant, then eat in the ministers' dining room. We had the venison Osso Buco. It was absolutely perfect. Soup and a petite lemon... More

I had the lobster roll, my wife had fish. Both were absolutely superb. Waitress was most attentive, and the atmosphere was terrific. Dining room is absolutely beautiful and grand. I am so glad we dined here. It was truly worth the trip.

Brunch at the Québec Assemblé National restaurant is open during the winter carnival to the general public. Wonderful food, great service, jazz musicians and even a visit from Bonhomme Carnival. Visit the legislative assembly and Red Chamber - outstanding architecture !

We booked our trip ahead of time. the visit was a definite must see. it is free of charge, i believe it must be booked ahead of time for security reasons. it's a very beautiful building with lots of historical items. you can dine in the main dining room or there is another less costly cafeteria in the basement. if... On September 6th after taking a tour of Québec's handsome parliament building, my husband and I had lunch at the very elegant Le Parlementaire restaurant. Parliament wasn't due to open until the next day, so the usually busy restaurant had few people and our waitress Jocelyn (a wonderful Québec character!) had plenty of time to give us warm and proficient... I recently had lunch at Le Parlementaire with a friend. When I am in Québec City for work or pleasure I like to go there for lunch once in a while for its Table d'hote (fixed menu). The dining room is stunning with its high ceilings, the ambiance is nice, calm and I always enjoyed the food...but last time...I was... More

On a rainy day wandering around Quebec City, as American tourists, we took photos of the outside of the massive and impressive Parliament building. Much to our delight, we were able to enter the building, go thru security, get visitor passes, and join a free tour in English of this magnificent building. We discovered that we could eat breakfast or... More

After a walking-tour we found this to be the exact place in which to relax and enjoy lunch. Service was great. Make sure you have your passport (or some picture I.D.) with you. This is after all in the Assemblee Nationale and you much go through security in order to enter the building. And, be sure you have a reservation.

Despite not having reservations and being at the end of their lunch hours, the restaurant graciously accommodated us. Security was also accommodating as my husband did not have a photo ID but clearance was quickly arranged. The menu had plenty of choices. My seafood salad was a work of art and held together with a delightful citrus dressing. Soup is... More
