Cozy restaurant, yummy food!

My boyfriend and I visited for a late lunch/early dinner during winter carnival. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the menu had many reasonable options for small plates to share which was a fun way for the two of us to try several different dishes. The restaurant itself is very... read more

Two of us dined at Le Lapin for lunch. It was a cold afternoon and we happened to be seated next to the restaurants fireplace, it was perfect. We shared a yogurt platter and rabbit poutine, just enough food to fuel our day! The rabbit was very tender and served with a well flavoured mustard sauce-like gravy. I also highly... More

We had an excellent lunch with local hot cider and fresh salad. The menu was very varied and the decor was warm and welcoming especially the fireplace. Would return again

We have dined at Le Lapin before, and its always a must-stop for us in Quebec City. The restaurant itself is the most charming little cottage, something you'd picture in a Grimm's fairytale. Its is small, so larger tables are difficult to accommodate, but we were a large table of nine, and I made a reservation ahead of time and... More

Because we are a large breakfast we did not want lunch until mid afternoon. The restaurant offers a snack special for $20, with two appetizers and dessert. Choices included a rabbit pâté, rabbit poutine, slices of duck and fondue, and lots more. All was excellent. Service was friendly and we tried local beer and cider.

We stopped by for lunch on our way back home to Toronto. Service was excellent and the food even better. Reasonably priced and wonderful. I had the grilled cheese with maple bacon and apples and my husband had the fish and chips. The fish was the best cod he's ever had...big flaky chunks very lightly battered. My grilled cheese was... After dining here routinely for over 6 years, I revisited my favourite resto in the Old Town. It had been too long. Winter months reduce the seating capacity to a cozy size, ideal for an intimate dining experience. Located on the most charming cobblestone street in Old Quebec, Petite Champlain, exposed stone walls and warm environment create a unique charm.... More

Took family of six ranging from age 7 to 74 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their wide variety of selections. Duck pate for the carnivores; roasted veggie salad for the vegetarian; even a gluten free rabbit dish!

The cheese board was great, you get to choose the three cheeses you would like. We were there when it was jam packed and the service was still incredibly fast. Very friendly staff. We were leary about the wait because it was so busy but it was not a problem.
