This was my third visit to the Continental, and each time I have been overwhelmed by this place. The service is absolutely perfect, the atmosphere very elegant and comfortable, and the food the best on the planet! The specialty of the house are the flambés, and that is what I have always ordered. Watching my peppercorn steak prepared tableside, as... More

We visited at the beginning of November when it was a noticeably slow time of year. The restaurant was quiet but it might be hands down, one of the greatest dining experiences of all my travels! The food was delicious, the service was exceptional and the traditional feeling of the restaurant transplanted us back to a slightly more glamorous time.... More

We took our staff and board of directors to this restaurant and they simply loved it! My entire meal, from the seared scallops, shrimp and asparagus to start, the black cod & braised fennel for dinner and the tiramisu for dessert, were simply delectable. The highlight for me was a little after dinner Brazilian Coffee that they make in front... More

If you are looking for a classically prepared French meal this is your destination. Superior service from all levels was a pleasure to observe and especially wonderful to enjoy. My husband enjoyed the filet flambé prepared perfectly table side and I enjoyed the venison. The wine that the somalie recommended was lovely. My husbands chocolate mousse was the perfect end... We enjoyed our dinner very much. The best part of the evening is watching the waitstaff cook your entrees at the table, but they have multiple tables going at the same time, an interesting ballet. The steaks were excellent and I had the crab legs, very simple but with a good hollandaise sauce. Crime brûlée and hazelnut cake were fantastic.... More

Le Continental was recommended by our hotel and also highly rated on Tripadvisor. It was literally across the street from our hotel. The ambiance is great, the service excellent. They specialize in all things flambé, which are prepared table-side. We had the duck orange for two, amazing. We liked the whole experience so much that we returned the next day... More

From Foie Gras to Filet Mignon, delicacies from the sea and an outstanding selection, Le Continental has it all! Highly recommend their excellent Caesar Salad and Beef Tartar (which I was hesitant at first to try, but glad I did - truly classic French)! Excellent wines as well. A walk down Rue St. Louis and lunch or dinner at Le... More

We had a wonderful dining experience at Le Continental. It was within 2 minutes walking distance from our hotel. Warm and charming. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. We had the Chateaubriand for two. Baked in the oven and then carved at the table with warming pan, the presentation and ambiance was wonderful. We thought it was a... More

Loved this restaurant. The food is beautifully, thoughtfully prepared and the staff are well trained. We were in Quebec for a conference so we had a group of forty with us. We were thrilled that Le Continental lived up to it's reputation...for our large group. Highly recommend Le Continental.
