This was one of top restaurants we visited in Quebec. It is a short walk from the Frontenac Hotel. I had the Dover Sole and my wife had the Filet Mignon sautéed in a pound of butter and brandy - both dishes were decadent. It was our wedding anniversary so they supplied desert with a sparkler. Service level was among... More

We always try to dine one evening at Le Continental. We brought our 15 year old son this time. It's an atmosphere that's a mix of couples and well behaved families. The table side cooking is entertaining and the aromas add to the experience. It's not inexpensive by any standard but the current US exchange rate makes it more pleasurable.... More

Romantic and quiet, special and delicious. Le Continental is a spectacular place to dine. Service and food extra special. While a bit pricey, the "show" is worth it. A definite place to dine for special occasions.

We had dinner here and really enjoyed ourselves and the food. Our meals were cooked flambé style at the table and our waiter was fantastic and a good cook. I had the steak which was cooked perfectly, my wife share the Duck a la orange which she enjoyed as well. I also had the fois gras which was some of... More

Not many places like this anymore. Old school steakhouse done right. Table side ceaser, steak and crepes Suzette. A must try in Quebec City.

The filet mignon was the best cut of meat I have ever had. Combining that with the escargot was enough to consider an international move. This restaurant is not cheap, but well worth the money if you love great food and a classic dinning experience. Make reservations.

We loved our experience here. The table side preparation of steaks and the amazing Caesar salad made for a great night. We ate at a lot of great restaurants in Quebec, but this was our family favorite!

The restaurant offers the best Chateubriand we ever tasted! The preparation of it, the salads and the deserts are done by the side table next to yours. One of few that makes Creppe Suzette for desert. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious! Great atmosphere. Very romantic, along with an extensive wine list and gracious hospitality to match. A bit pricey but it’s worth it!
