Classic French Restaurant. Outstanding menu, food, and service. We had the Chateaubriand for two; LARGE portion, sauce was to die for. Short walk from the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac. Well worth a visit!

We had a delicious duck flambed table side. Sebastian was our chef and did an excellent job of making our duck al orange tableside. Dinner is not cheap but delicious! I highly recommend dinner at le continental!

One of he finest dining experiences we've had in years. Equal to many fine dining places we've enjoyed in Paris and New York. Pricey, but we didn't mind because it was that good. Service was impeccable -- captain was always nearby although not intrusive. Great wine list. The lamb was prepared to perfection with a wonderful carre de cerf sauce.... More

Restaurant is on the pricey side; however the presentation and quality of food and the experience of the table-side flambé is worth it! If you go, be sure to order on of the flambé entrees or desserts. I had the tenderloin fillet and it was a generous portion which was cooked to perfection flambé style with a of delicious gravy.... This was our best meal, by far. We had great waiters and the food was great. I will remember this night as one of the best eating experiences ever.

My husband and I enjoyed a delightful dining experience at Le Continental. From the onset, you are greeted at the door and have the option of checking in your coat which is helpful given the chilly weather. We opted for the table d'hote for $54 pp which included an entree, soup, main, dessert and coffee each. My snow crabs were... More

We made a return visit to Le Continental on our most recent trip to Quebec City. For the first time we had some disappointment with this restaurant. The signature, grand special filet mignon was excellent as usual. Less impressive was the service. Normally a single waiter cares for the table and prepares the flambes table side. On this last visit,... More

This is the second time to this very traditional style of dining with many of the dishes prepared tableside. But then again, this is the main purpose of returning. The first time was most remarkable since it was our first time. The second time was very nice, but not as unique and mainly since we didn't order as many items... More

This rather formal-looking restaurant is an enjoyable step back to the pomp and circumstance of the 1950s, which tux-clad waiters and long-forgotten dishes flambeed at your table. But the key thing is that those dishes deserve better than to have been swept away by the nouveau and minceur waves, especially when done as well as they are at Le Continental.... More

This was our second dinner in Quebec, and it was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I had the duck (flambe) and it was super. One of our traveling companions had the signature filet, and it was one of the better steaks we have had. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I would go there again without question and would... More
