Read reviews and it was recommended by our hotel. We were not disappointed. It was a little pricey for what was served, but the experience was enjoyable. The food was above average, but not the best for QC. Service was excellent. The filet was very good, but I wouldn't order the salmon again.

Sometimes you visit a place that has been proclaimed as wonderful by a celebrity (in this case Anthony Bourdain comes to mind) you get two possible problems in reviews that can trip you up: First, there are those who simply want to hop on the bandwagon without real thought given to the actual experience. The second challenge can be that... More

We found the entire experience to be superb! Excellent efficient wait staff. Very pleasant decor. The Caesar Salad made at the table is the best I have ever had! I also had a flambé and it is a treat to watch the preparation at the table. Our food was exquisite. The wine list is extensive and vey high quality. If... More

Just had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with my work family. There were 16 of us and we were given a private room upstairs. That was a good thing as we get pretty loud. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable. Our food was cooked in our room. They made the Caesar salads from scratch. About 80% of the group... More

I asked not to have mustard in the sauce for my filet, and was told that they can't "DO" that...but he would use less mustard. Hated the meat and then when he asked, the waiter wasn't apologetic, just smirked and said he tried! If they couldn't eliminate the mustard he should have steered me to a different entre.

If you like your food cooked in front of you, that's the place to go! They will prepare your salad at your table and cook your steak to your like at your table as well. The servers are very nice and they work very hard. Good food and good ambiance!

From the rave reviews on Tripadvisor, I was expecting more. Don't get me wrong, the staff here were extremely friendly and provided a nice welcoming environment, and if this review were to be based on service alone, they would have received 5*. Unfortunately, it is with deep regret that I find myself giving this location only 3* and here is... More

Incredible evening! We ordered Duck a la orange for 2 and it was incredible. The flambé at our table and the entire staff was so attentive and had impeccable timing and service! The interior ambience was wonderful, made feel like I was back in Paris! Our evening was as wonderful as the food. I would recommend reservations and ask for... More

My wife & I. Had dinner at Le Contintental Restaurant last evening. The service & food were excellent. We had the Duck a L'Orange, absolutely fantastic. We highly recommend Le Continental if you would like to enjoy fine dining in Quebec City. Reservations are recommended, but not required.
