If you appreciate and lust for an exquisite dining experience, La Cremaillere will not disappoint. An absolutely superb restaurant in old Quebec City. Fantastic cuisine, and great service. Highly recommended. This is a high end restaurant and it comes at a cost, but it is well worth it.

My fiance and I were very lucky to have been given the chance to dine in such a fine restaurant! Be preprared to spend a bit of money and pace yourself. The food is divine. We're a bit picky when it comes to services, but it was just outstanding, our water goblets were always full, the servers were a delight.... More

My wife and I travelled by train to Quebec City for a weekend. Two weeks before the trip we phoned for a Sunday evening reservation for Jan. 18 which was confirmed by the employee. Their web site also indicated they were open. When we arrived in the evening by taxi we found the restaurant door locked and the taxi had... More

All I can say is Wow! My husband and I visit Quebec each year and this year we decided to try new restaurants. All I can say is that I wish we found this restaurant during our first visit because we would be here every time. The service was exceptional, and the entire staff was very attentive. The food was... We chose this restaurant based on reviews on TA. We arrived and were seated promptly at 8:15. We were not aware that there was a specific 5 course-prix fixe menu for the evening (even though we were called to place a $20/pp deposit a few days prior) you had a choice of 2 appetizers, 4 entrees, 1 soup, 1 lemon... Worth a visit if you want a classic white table cloth dinning experience where you can hear the conversations at your table without shouting.....very good food and attentive service and an easy and pleasant walk from most hotels.

My girlfriend and I went for dinner last night. I would recommend this restaurant for everyone. Food was great and the service was impeccable. We also enjoyed good wine for a reasonable price.

We arrived in Quebec City from a cruise ship on October 22, got registered at a hotel and then hit the street to walk and get lunch. We literally stumbled on to this beautiful restaurant when the wind became so strong and it was so cold we had to take a break and get inside. We were right in front... More

We could not have been more pleased with this choice for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The food was excellent and the service professional and personal. The restaurant is in an old house with tables in several rooms so it feels spacious which we found far more pleasant than the tables crammed together in some trendy places. We chose from... More
