We had no reservations but were welcomed and taken to a table immediately. The service was excellent and both our waiters and maître d' helped at our table. Excellent mussels, salad and both main courses (beef filet and rack of lamb) couldn't have been better. Highly recommended and we will return.

Great French food In a lovely setting. Table d'hôtel good value with a good selection of food appealing to all of the family. Normal sized portions and beautifully cooked and seasoned meals. We eat fairly late , 8.30 pm was the latest they wanted to serve us and it was obvious why, we were clearly the latest there by at... More

I was a little put off at first as there was nobody in reception, so we left and then when we came back the Maitre d' seemed unwelcoming. First impressions are all too often wrong! He turned out to be a very professional, attentive and helpful Maitre d'. Yes....a very good man to have out front. I liked the calm... More

We had read that this was one of the best restaurants in Vieux Quebec and it did not disappoint. It is located at the corner of Sainte-Anne St. facing the Place de l'Hotel-de-Ville (CIty Hall). There was much construction going on in the Place when we were there, but that was true of the whole city. Our service was provided... More

My husband and I visit Quebec City quite frequently and we always make a point of eating at La Cremaillere. It has never disappointed. The food and service have always been excellent. Last time we visited we took some friends and they loved it too. I highly recommend La Cremaillere.

We had reservations made through (and at the suggestion of) our hotel concierge. When we arrived, about two minutes after our reservation time, we had to wait for the table to be prepared, which I thought was odd. After being seated, we waited 30 minutes and still no waiter had stopped by our table. No drink order, no bread, no... More

Traditional French cuisine of the highest order. Good ingredients and excellent, attentive service. The 50th anniversary celebration menu is exceptional value for money and highly recommended.

What a marvelous last night in Quebec City. This restaurant was out of this world great. My meal started with a delicious split pea soup and wonderful bread. I then had a wonderful entree of cod which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The portion was not huge and was just the right size. Dinner ended with a dessert -... More

Had a wonderful dinner here with my SO. The food was out of this world and we both were amazed by the quality. The highlight of our evening was however the wine we ordered from their vast collection. The servers were very professional and mature in looking after you. I would definitely recommend anyone to try this out if you... More
