Nice cozy "feel at home" kinda restaurant

Although they did not have the reservation (and not sure why) we made through internet the rest of the evening was just great. The two servers Alex and Arianne we just the best. The food was good and unpretentious. A small gem to discover.

We went to this restaurant as part of a "La Forfaiterie" gift certificate which included the Table d'hôte. We called for a reservation about a week in advance because we knew it was a small place. But when we called again on the same day to confirm the time, we were told the reservation was never made and we practically... More

A great place to enjoy a delicious and fun meal with children. We decided to have the cheese/meat/chocolate trio and were not disappointed. The meal was yummy and very fun for our young boys to cook their own meat. Service was very friendly and helpful. Our waitress recommended the perfect order for our table of six.

My wife loves Swiss fondue, and so we asked around for a good fondue restaurant. Another restaurant owner on Saint Jean Street told us that the best fondue restaurant in the Old City area was La Grolla. La Grolla is not exactly in the Old City - it's a few blocks outside the walls, but it isn't hard to find... More

Warm, cozy atmosphere with great staff. The pace was perfect and serving sizes left us feeling full. Best cheese fondue I've ever had...mushrooms and cognac - add garlic....SO GOOD! Would not recommend the maple (too runny) but the chocolate fondue was great. Will definitely go back!

My husband and I had been planning to go to this restaurant for months leading up to our trip to Quebec based on a friend's recommendation. We arrived without a reservation and chose to stick to our choice and came back two hours later to find our table ready and a helpful server ready to get us our meal. We... More

On a whim we searched for a fondue place, and found this on TripAdvisor. This was en route from the hotel to Old Quebec. So we stopped to look at the menu and were greeted by a server, and made a reservation. This was a wonderful experience. It's a long service at 2.5 hours, and not cheap at $150 for... More

3 hour dinner. Great fondue. Excellent service. Small on the inside, but it is manageable. I would recommend this place as it was recommended to us from our hotel nearby. Obviously, expensive. Bottle of wine (cheapest on menu) plus dinner for two cost $130.00.

We wanted to go to a great restaurant recommended by locals, outside of the walled city (we had eaten at several excellent places there, but wanted something a little different). La Grolla was recommended by a local for their great fondue. We made a reservation and walked the short distance from the walled city. We got there a little early,... More
