Great Swiss Restaurant

The fondue was great and the raclette delicious. It was a bit loud (a group of men sang loudly nearby) but the servers were super helpful and the decor was beautiful.

Fondue options were good and accommodating to gluten free guests. Oil, broth and cheese based fondues with beef, seafood, bread, potato and gluten free bread options. The waitress had to read in her bar book how to make a gin and tonic which was scary but good beer choices

I was set on going to a fondue resturant and made a reservation for 4 adults. There was an off putting smell upon arrival. It may have been the cheese cooking but regardless they need a better fan system. The smell would not encourage anyone's appetite. The food was okay and expensive for what you got. Meals ranged from $23-$33.+.... More

We have been at the restaurant twice now, on two separate trips to Quebec City. We went out of our way on the second trip to make sure we stopped by again. The choices on the menu are great and we just loved the fondue both times. The waitresses were very, very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and although quaint, the atmosphere... More

Was recommended to eat at La Grolla to taste the meat fondue. A small walk from the hotel where we stayed. The restaurant is small, more like the front room of a house. Booking a table would be highly recommended as it can get very busy. Never had a meat fondue, so was looking forward to trying it. I have... More

Although they did not have the reservation (and not sure why) we made through internet the rest of the evening was just great. The two servers Alex and Arianne we just the best. The food was good and unpretentious. A small gem to discover.

We went to this restaurant as part of a "La Forfaiterie" gift certificate which included the Table d'hôte. We called for a reservation about a week in advance because we knew it was a small place. But when we called again on the same day to confirm the time, we were told the reservation was never made and we practically... More

A great place to enjoy a delicious and fun meal with children. We decided to have the cheese/meat/chocolate trio and were not disappointed. The meal was yummy and very fun for our young boys to cook their own meat. Service was very friendly and helpful. Our waitress recommended the perfect order for our table of six.

My wife loves Swiss fondue, and so we asked around for a good fondue restaurant. Another restaurant owner on Saint Jean Street told us that the best fondue restaurant in the Old City area was La Grolla. La Grolla is not exactly in the Old City - it's a few blocks outside the walls, but it isn't hard to find... More
