Great ambiance, good service. Soups were good, but main dishes were bland, crying for better seasoning.

Small cozy but very delightfull restaurant on the east side of Old Quebec City... with great charm, staff and amazingly deilcious food. The service is friendly and efficient... they also boast a great wine list. It can be a very nice romatic spot if you get a quiet table upstairs. I had the white fish dish which was perfection. After... More

If you are looking for great food in a casual and intimate, and friendly environment, then I recommend Cafe Malo. It is located in Lower town, near the waterfront, just slightly removed from the very most touristy spots, but a very easy walk to most old town locations. This is not the place to go if you are looking for... More

this is well situated in the old town and offers typical Quebecois fare. The rabbit and the lamb were well prepared and very tasty. recommended!

We ate here on our first night in QC on the recommendation of our hotel. The atmosphere and food were very reminiscent of France. The goat cheese salad was outstanding. Make a reservation as the place is on the small side.

We ordered the steak frites and duck confit, French bistro staples. The duck confit rivaled that of any restaurant in Paris. It was prepared to perfection. We would return to this cafe and recommend it to any one spending time in QC. This was a small cafe so I highly recommend reservations. We made reservations the morning of so its... More

We dined at Le Saint-Malo in late October at the recommendation of our hotel. The restaurant is absolutely charming - cozy and inviting. The menu offered a variety of interesting and unexpected items, and we enjoyed a fabulous dinner from start (crusty French bread) to finish (amazing desserts!) My husband began with the kangaroo pate', and had quite the decision... More

We had a lovely time at this cozy, French restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful. There were more locals than tourists, but everyone spoke English perfectly.

We had lunch here one day and it was delicious. We sat outside under the awning which was great due to the fine weather. Everything we ordered turned out wonderful. Definitely try the French onion soup. All in all we really enjoyed this little place.
