Delicious food

I was a little taken aback when I discovered the fly in my delicious soup. It wouldn't have bothered me so much if they had taken it off the bill...All of the other people and I enjoyed all of our food. Seemed very fresh. Server very sweet.

In a city with so many average restaurants this was better. A table of 8 people, each of us mostly pleased with our meal. The steak was a little overdone but edible, the salmon was perfectly prepared and delicious. The restaurant itself is charming fitting beautifully into the ambiance of old QC

This small restaurant in the Lower Town of Old Quebec is a must if like us, you want to eat very good French cuisine. Typical dishes from France, at very affordable prices, everything is fresh and the map of incredible wines. The service and surroundings are our real relaxing time in the day. Don't hesitate

My wife and I went here to try some French cuisine. I ordered the 🐇 in mustard. I was surprised by how juicy and tender the rabbit was. If I go back I will order this same dish.

We ate in this restaurant on two occasions and were delighted with the ambiance, the food and the wine which all were above our expectations. It is a attractively decorated both inside and out which enhances the experience. We tried both the escargot and the osso bucco which were cooked and presented beautifully. The house wine complimented the food. The... More

I went to this restaurant on a week night alone. I was extremely impressed with the warm welcome and the excellent food. The fish soup came piping hot and it turned out to be quite complex in taste (in a good way). This was followed with the best mussels ever and very good fries. The mussels had a lot of... More

My family and I visited this charming restaurant on our first night in Quebec City. I read so many good reviews about this restaurant in TripAdvisor that I had to see for myself was the fuss was about. The restaurant is small and quaint.Toasted baguettes slices with fresh butter went well with our wine. Blood sausage and escargots, appetizers, were... More

Good menu, good wine, great French food, lots of charm. We sat in the outdoor patio as the sun went down.

We ate at this cafe during our stay in Quebec City. The food is generous, moderately priced for the city, and delicious. The owners, a couple, act as the servers at this intimate cafe. Prepare however for a leisurely dinner or lunch. Service takes awhile and is slow when the cafe is busy but the food is definitely worth the... More

This was our third time eating at Cafe St. Malo and we were not disappointed. Located in an old building with exposed stone walls, this restaurant reflects the old world ambiance of Old Quebec, but the food and the staff are modern and top notch. We noticed a large number of french speakers at adjacent tables, which just reinforced that... More
