To be honest we went to this restaurant in error, having mistaken the entrance for the restaurant next door. However, it is centrally located, pleasant enough and reasonably priced. The menu is a little odd - pizza's with "fusion" toppings, such as general Tsao chicken, etc. Pasta and other foods are available. The restaurant wasn't very busy and the staff... More

I went to Pointe des Ameriques several years ago and enjoyed a great "non-traditional" pizza (General Tao). I was wondering around Old Quebec, weighing my dining options and was really looking for a quick and casual dinner so La Pointe des Ameriques it was! I initially wanted to go for pizza, but was intrigued by some of their new offering,... More

It was dark when I arrived at the Marriott and this place was just across the street. What a lucky find, although I figured it'd be good when I saw a group of young men having a grand time at their outdoor table. The food was excellent and the waitress friendly and attentive. The price was right.

Awful. Unbelievably slow service and dreadful food. I ate two mouthfuls of my salad and left the rest it was so bad. Not a word was asked by the waitress. My husband's steak was poor quality meat, badly cooked. The only saving grace was that the bread was OK and that table wine is available by the half litre, so... More

If you love spicy foods the Calabrese pizza is a must for your next visit. Whenever I am in Quebec I must visit this restaurant and enjoy this pizza. Great service and settled just before the gates to Old Quebec.

We thought we liked La Pointe des Ameriques while we were eating there. My husband ordered the alligator pizza and I got the chevre and brie. We were the only people in the restaurant, so we had great service, however, we both got violently ill afterward. I think it was his pizza that did it, since he was more sick... More

The hostess seated us right away and gave us menus. There were plenty of servers in the restaurant, but apparently none in our section because after 15 minutes we were still waiting for somebody to acknowledge us. At this point we asked the hostess send somebody over. We waited another 5 minutes and still nothing. So we got up and... More

We enjoyed dinner here with our extended family.(teens, grandparents). There was something for everyone. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with its brick walls. The pizza selection is creative.
