Very busy lunch even at 13:00. I liked the price fix meal at 12$ My wife went for a lobster salad. Everything tasty. Spend $42 before tip. Remember, the Petit Cochon Dingue is just a couple of doors up the street and runs on a cafeteria type of format - food on trays. We ate at the proper restaurant of... More

We had a late breakfast here one day. Got a table on the patio, street level. The crepes were to die for. Very fresh. Sometimes crepes are too thin and are dry - these were not!

We ate here for dinner during the Festival d'Ete. While it was busy, we were lucky enough to score an outside table, and there was no line-up. We had salmon, spinach dip, and the dessert sampler - Creme brûlée and chocolate mousse were delicious! Service was quick if a little offhand. Interesting way of serving tea but made it difficult... My wife has a friend who was originally from Quebec. She informed us that she felt Cochon Dingue had the best Sugar Pie in Quebec City. We travel to Quebec City yearly for a few days and Cochon Dingue is a regular event during our visits. It is a well run restaurant in a great location, with a menu of popular... More

Ate breakfast here twice on our trip to Quebec City. Food was great every time...and the coffee is perfectly done! A perfect place to start your day and get some good food in you before you site see. Will definitely return if I'm in Quebec City again.

We recently were in town for a last minute stay in Quebec City and were recommended to go to this restaurant. The wait was long - about an hour but we were there during the Festival D'Ete so everywhere was busy. There were two waiting lines - one for patio and one for inside which was a little weird I... In a previous trip to old Quebec, several people told us to go to the Cochon Dingue but we were unable to. This trip, it was a priority for me and one of the restaurants I was excited to go to. The outdoor cafe is on a very busy stretch of street due to the ferries, so we chose to... More

We were lucky enough to get our table relatively fast, thanks to the girl who helped us. We decided to sit outside and really enjoying the traffic around us:p we ordered Duck confit poutine, Tartine croqne-Monsieur, and lobster and shrimp salad. Delicious!!!

The location of Cochon Dingue is ideal in Old Quebec, which is where we were staying. There are lots of little stores and boutiques nearby and it makes the walk over very enjoyable. Luckily, we had made online reservations and were seated right away, despite the line up to get in. I really appreciated the kids' menu which is very... More

Great location in lower Old Quebec. Lots of options on the menu. Nice, friendly staff ,reasonable prices but the best part was the outside seating with nice view of river and shops.
