The perfect breakfast place in food, atmosphere, service, and style. Really enjoyed it all... especially the breakfast poutine. Highly recommend.

Perfect for a brunch. Maybe there's too much to wait and it's a bit overpriced, but it deserves to go anyway. Nice place, nice service. I will come back on my next visit.

We have visited Old Quebec City three times and have only been to Le Petit Couchon Dingue beside this slightly more formal restaurant due to lineups when we pass this restaurant. I say more formal only because Le Petit Couchon Dingue is more of a cafeteria type setting and this restaurant is a sit down restaurant with servers who take... More

English menus available, no problem with language with servers. Excellent food, great atmosphere, wonderful staff. You do need to go downstairs for bathroom so be aware of this. Not a problem for those with full mobility. I had Caesar salad with real back bacon bits and Parmesan cheese. There was a slight taste that may have been anchovies in dressing... More

While in Quebec City in September-2014, we had dinner at Cochon Dingue on the recommendation of a friend. This restaurant is in the lower old city - it's very charming, with lots of exposed brick and stone work. The tables are rustic and it's always busy even in the off season. Our server was very friendly and helpful with the... More

Another busy spot, but worth the wait. We had visited this spot 4 years ago on our first trip to Quebec, and we loved it so much, we had to come back. We didn't have reservations, and were told the wait would be about 30 min for lunch. The hostess was kind enough to offer to text us on our... More

and picked out the best of the best food. No really, the food was excellent and the place is unique. The waiter was very helpful and I had a hard time choosing from the large menu selection. Great start for your day!

Like the title says, it was a very home like feel to breakfast. The menu was decently sized with lots of great options and variations. Portions were perfect. The staff were also very pleasant!

On the morning Christmas Eve we searched out this specific joint for breakfast. The boyfriend had been there before and said I would definitely enjoy the eats here. There are two restaurants with the same name, the other is "Petit" Cochon Dingue which is more of a bakery, no seating. We sat quickly even though it was busy. I'm pretty... More

Excellent service and a wonderful Sunday brunch. I admit that the food we got for Sunday brunch (after a 25 minute wait) was better than the Monday breakfast. But it's still a great restaurant, and we will definitely return!
