The menu is original and the meals are tasty! We were a group of 8 people and all of us were pleased with the food. On top of that, our waiter was full of humour, which is always welcome.

A friend said this was the best restaurant in Quebec City; two "people on the street" said we had to go there. We tried to get a dinner reservation, but they were booked. So we opted for a lunch reservation on a Saturday at 11:45 AM. Little did we know that they began the day with brunch service, and that... More

Been here a few days and eaten out in many places and this has been the best. As a family we ate crab cakes and ribs as appetizers and fish n chips, steak n chips n salads for mains - all were excellent! Friendly service patient with our bad French and happy to serve. Try the classic Cesar with bacon... More

A wonderful casual restaurant in the heart of Petit Champlain. Our waitress recommended the pork sandwich and the spicy mayo for the french fries. A home run! My wife had the Duck Poutine. I am not a fan of poutine but she was in heaven. A will say it was a generous portion of duck on top. We would go... More

Very busy lunch even at 13:00. I liked the price fix meal at 12$ My wife went for a lobster salad. Everything tasty. Spend $42 before tip. Remember, the Petit Cochon Dingue is just a couple of doors up the street and runs on a cafeteria type of format - food on trays. We ate at the proper restaurant of... More

We had a late breakfast here one day. Got a table on the patio, street level. The crepes were to die for. Very fresh. Sometimes crepes are too thin and are dry - these were not!

We ate here for dinner during the Festival d'Ete. While it was busy, we were lucky enough to score an outside table, and there was no line-up. We had salmon, spinach dip, and the dessert sampler - Creme brûlée and chocolate mousse were delicious! Service was quick if a little offhand. Interesting way of serving tea but made it difficult... My wife has a friend who was originally from Quebec. She informed us that she felt Cochon Dingue had the best Sugar Pie in Quebec City. We travel to Quebec City yearly for a few days and Cochon Dingue is a regular event during our visits. It is a well run restaurant in a great location, with a menu of popular... More

Ate breakfast here twice on our trip to Quebec City. Food was great every time...and the coffee is perfectly done! A perfect place to start your day and get some good food in you before you site see. Will definitely return if I'm in Quebec City again.
