Carrot cake !!!

Arrived at 1130 am on a Saturday and seated within minutes. Lunch not available so we had breakfast. Had the specialty that has half a waffle. The scrambled eggs were lukewarm but the potatoes were hot and very good. The waffle sauce was okay as was maple syrup but expected better. What was the big... read more

My family ate here last week during our girls trip and we loved it. We had to wait a bit for a table since it was so crowded, but I'm glad we did! Our waiter suggested the seafood pot pie and it was the best pot pie I have ever had. It featured large pieces of tender salmon as well... More

My partner and I ate here for breakfast one morning and lunch on another day and we loved it. We did love the breakfast over the lunch - great coffee, tasty oats and great eggs benny. Would recommend this place and will return again.

Busy little restaurant with wonderful food. May have a bit of a wait but it is worth it as the food is good and well presented.

We went there yesterday after our tour guide suggested the place plus we had already found it on trip advisor with great reviews. We had the seafood pie, the pork chop and the burger for my son. Every single item was great and we enjoy each and every bite of our meals. Desserts were also amazing! Even this morning we... More

On the recommendation of our concierge, we went here, not knowing the title means "Crazy Pig." While we wanted a salad, the ribs were highly recommended, so we ordered ribs and a shrimp and lobster salad. Being from Boston, we are always skeptical about lobster, but the salad was outstanding, the lobster being fresh and sweet, and the baby shrimp... More

I tried Cochon Dingue due to the strong recommendation by Tripadvisor. I was disappointed. Now dont get me wrong, the meal wasnt bad perse, it just wasnt worth the $30 dollars i paid for lunch. I had the "signature" pork burger which was $15++ and a glass of beer $6++. The pork burger was served with their string thin fries... More

I am sorry you did not like your overall experience at Le Cochon Dingue. I would like to point out however, that based on your comments, your meal did not cost $30 but rather $21 to which we had to add provincial and federal taxes like any other establishment. Perhaps you also left a tip so at the end it... More

It seems like every time I come to Quebec City, I make my way to Le Cochon Dingue. The food, atmosphere and service are great! You get some truly unique meals which are served with a jar of pickles to snack on while you wait. If it's a beautiful day, you can sit outside and enjoy the neighborhood. I ordered... More

We were a group of seven people, spanning three generations and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and service. Wonderful opportunity to sample local Quebec specialties.

This is a favourite stop for my husband and I on our annual QC trips! I pretty much crave the fries all year long lol Very cozy on a snowy November night!
