We ate lunch inside. Outside seating available. Most of the clientele seemed to be tourists. No atmosphere/ambiance. Service was good but we had to ask for bread. House red wine was terrible - it was served ice cold (trying to cover up the taste?). Portion sizes were very good. Soup was great but the entree was uninspired. No tablecloth. Paper... More

After many eye rolls and tantrums we were excited to find a restaurant that was super family friendly with delicious food and a great value. We enjoyed it so much we came back a second time in our one day stay! Great dinner and breakfast options for kids and adults. Our kids had a delicious chocolate milk, an appetizer (salad,... More

This place is SO WORTH IT! We were very lucky actually, because on of our friends got hungry for dinner at 5.30 so that's when we went there. And got a table immediately. However when we were walking out around 7.30 the aisles and staircase was full of people waiting for tables. We had some drinks and a delightful dinner.... More

We had breakfast twice here during our short stay, having the granola and yoghurt both times. The cranberry

We went with a couple of friends for late lunch and really enjoyed every moment. The server was very attentive, food was outstanding and the prices are fine! The fondue was great, but it's not the fondue we're used to. They looked more like cheese balls, but very tasty. The pulled pork sandwich with the jalapenos was awesome and the... More

We went to the Cochon Dingue for breakfast. All three of us had La Poutine Déjeuner for our meal. IT WAS INCREDIBLE. Potatoes, bacon, sausage, peppers, Hollandaise sauce, topped with a sunny side up egg. It was a very filling one-dish meal with multiple layers of flavor. The coffee was perfect. (I didn't have a bad cup of coffee anywhere... More

This is a must when you visit Quebec City. The atmosphere is great, and the food is great. Try the maple mayo with your fries, and the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich was surprisingly delicious.

I don't understand all the rave reviews. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. But the food is too expensive. I had the salmon tartare, shrimp and crab cakes. The crab cakes were good, but tiny. The shrimp were the kind you eat on a cheap buffet, soggy and limp. Salmon tartare is usually a fine, light dish, but... More

We needed a light lunch and found in at Cochon Dingue. Their ground pork sandwich was moist and flavorful, not at all dry and tasteless like at home. Their onion soup was exceptionally good, and service was fast and efficient. Might go back today.
