loved the ambiance

great location and great ambiance, I had a ham wrap with matchsticks fries, delicious with mignardises (small one bite dessert) and iced tea . My hubby had veal parmigiana with pasta and he loved it, our table was indoor (they do have a lovely outdoor area-but it was full), our table was against... read more

We had visited this restaurant once before and returned because of the excellent service and great food. Our second experience mirrored our first ...until we overheard a conversation between a couple that consisted of an English woman and French man reviewing the French language menu. Seems that if you can speak and read French, you get a better deal and... More

Food was better than average although the French Onion soup was not enough. I had the pork burger. It was pretty tasty. Entrees on the whole were tasty but ALL the french fries were less than warm. Service was absolutely atrocious. Our male server was too busy milking what he hoped would have been a better tip from a bigger... More

Great Quebec food in a great atmosphere. A wonderful way to spend a couple of hours in a cold winter evening. The service is quite good.

Nice ambiance and delicious specialties but a little expensive for breakfast. Make sure to try the applesauce.

I find that restaurant reviews have a lot to do with expectations. I was expecting an outdoor cafe experience and I received what I was expecting. We had a small table along the sidewalk which allowed us to watch the Tour de Beauce. Our server was polite, the service time was reasonable and our food was delicious. My son thought... More

We ate here on a recommendation from Frommers and found it overpriced for the food and experience it delivered. My family of four was crammed into a table meant for two and had to ate the entire meal with waitresses' butts bumping into the backs of our heads as they squeezed by to serve other diners. Food was fine but... More

Really nice restaurant, I was in Quebec for 6 months and every Sunday I went to eat their famous maple wood cooked ribs. It's not expensive and the food it's excellent.

Breakfast happens to be my favorite meal of the day. When I travel, I always am looking for the best breakfast around. Cocoon Dingue is now in my top three (the others are restaurants in Montreal and Istanbul). I stayed in Quebec City with my husband and parents in January of 2015. We stayed for 5 days and had breakfast... More
