Just enough for this rating

Service was perfect but food was not as upscale as expected.. Fresh ingredients were used, plates looked appetizing but the taste was not spiced enough to make the food special. I expected more from this French restaurant.

Not impressed at all. I was looking forward to a wonderful dinner with my husband but was very disappointed. Service and food was not up to my expectations and the manager seemed to be more interested in all the other patrons except my husband and I!! Next year we will be looking elsewhere to celebrate our 34th!!!!

We were staying in a hotel across the street from this restaurant and decided to try (lots of restaurant choices on this block). We all really enjoyed our meals and eating on the outdoor patio. This is a pretty busy street so I wouldn't come here for an intimate setting (especially eating outside). Would definitely recommend to come here however... More

I'm a fois gras fan and this was our first dinner in Quebec City. Yum. For a main course I enjoyed tortellini with goat cheese, squash and nuts - a mix of great flavors. My husband had lobster (the season had just begun) and totally loved it. Creme Brulee was a perfect end to the meal.

Three of us went for lunch and had a variety of foods such as a linguine crevet, (very good) a lobster on linguini (excellent) and a really good Bouillabaisse and i have had numerous such fish soups in France and Belgium. Wine list is very reasonably priced.

The food was excellent, the onion soup was prepared to perfection. The service pleasant and prices reasonable. A place to visit again.

First time to visit this restaurant and usually do not go beyond the walled city for a restaurant. However walking down the street we found this restaurant. Sat in the room you immediately arrive in and had a charming table in an elegant sitting. Food was excellent and the service was over the top. Recommend a reservation and sitting in... More

We were waited on by Rudolphe and we were suitably impressed by his attention, skills, knowledge of the menu and the wine list, etc... He and my wife agreed on a bottle of burgundy and enjoyed it very much. The food was delicious, good size portions and well presented.

We dined in several Grand Allee restaurants over the course of our time there...basically no serious complaints, except for one venue already reviewed. Louis-Hebert was a complete pleasure in both dining and service. Once again, we dined al fresco and loved it. Our server was professional, attentive, and friendly-- not in an overbearing manner. We shared a bottle of French... More

If you are looking for an expensive restaurant with snob ambiance, you do care about vine but do not care about food, it might be a giod choice for you. Otherwise you risk to be dissapointed by mediocre taste of the food and will regret the price you paid for it
