Best Crepes in North America

Okay, I really haven't eaten in that many creperies in North America, but I did live in France for a year, so I've eaten in many creperies in France and this one stands out. Le Billig Creperie-Bistro made me homesick for France. There were so many savory and sweet crepes to choose among that it... read more

I had the misfortune of going to Le Billig yesterday. I walked in at 11:05am (5mins after the restaurant opened), was seated, and then was ignored for 25mins. I tried calling the waiter several times, but he simply stared at me with a frown on his face, and then proceeded to ignore me. So I just got up and left.... More

We stopped in at 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed, but they took our name and we went out and did some shopping and came back in 40 minutes to a table. Had a selection of sweet and savory crepes and some ciders and it was all so delicious. Definitely a great stop for crepes in... More

After spending all day exploring the old city, we were delighted to find this peaceful oasis. They had the most creative menu choices we had ever seen and we loved the buckwheat crepes! My husband had crepes with poached eggs, asparagus and ham and I had the fig, mozzeralla and basil. They were both excelent choices! Wonderful atmosphere and friendly... More

During my current stay in beautiful Quebec I have been there twice. I went to Brittany for three months some years ago and I have tried breton crepes. Le Billing crepes taste exactly as in Brittany. My favorite ones are wholewheat. Their consistency is crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. Flavorful ingredients and well-balanced seasoning. Service is... More

Tried a few creperies in Quebec and this was the best one. Savory (buckwheat) and sweet (wheat flour) crepes. Lots of flavors.

Ok, but have had much better. They use a dry, buckwheat style crepe for the main dinner. Great atmosphere on a street off the tourist area.

Went there for dinner this evening. I have read several reviews complaining of the service but our experience was nothing of the kind. Service was excellent: very welcoming, prompt and attentive. No problem in either English or French. The crepes were very enjoyable. The menu includes many interesting vegetarian options, as well as of course many non vegetarian. I didn't... More
