Best Craft Beer in Quebec City

By all means stop by and have le carousel galopins. This is a flight of all beers on offer in small pilsner glasses set in a rotating wheel. Don't come looking for food or snacks, bring food over from the old port market a few blocks away. The bartender is friendly and they have some really... read more

Don't come looking for food or snacks, bring food over from the old port market a few blocks away. The bartender is friendly and they have some really inventive brews.

Loved this brewery. Bring some food and spend time hanging out on their spacious patio. Staff was quick but courteous. Step away from the fast paced touristy area and relax with friends and a cold pint at this little gem!

My group from work very often gathers here on Fridays for lunch. It's great! You bring your own food, they have microwaves if needed. The patio was much improved last summer... though I suspect they will have to increase the seating space again soon! If the weather calls for indoor seating, the atmosphere is always nice but come early as... More

My husband ordered the $18 (CAD) flight of beers which includes 8 generous glasses of their daily specials on tap. The atmosphere was wonderful outside with low-hanging trees, lights, eclectic seating and tables, and Classic American oldies playing in the background. This definitely seemed like a great local joint for the young, old, and everyone in between, including ample cyclists.... More

Shared a carousel of galopins out on the patio. A Quebec couple was doing a sound check for their country music performance that would be later that night. A friendly local suggested other places to try while we were in Quebec. Liked the Pina agria.

This is a really nice place to visit. Their beers are a bit hit-and-miss if you are a big beer snob (we sort of are), but of their list of 8 beers there were 2 that were quite excellent and a few others that were good. The guy who served us was really friendly and knew his beers well. And... More

We've tried some beer from this company that we really love. We expected better beer, none of the beer we tried was really good. Nothing special in this bar, probably we are not coming back. However, the service was excellent.

Loved this local brewery. The outside patio was amazing, felt like we were in our own oasis. No food is served here but you can bring your own, which is a great concept. A table near us brought a bag of chips, why didn't we think of that?? We ordered samples of all the beers (8 in total), my favourite... More

We were directed to this place through the Pub Crawl site for Quebec City. Great selection of beers. They have an authentic English-style bitters that they pump and serve at the right room temp. Also a tasty Saison - nice overtones of citrus. And, although I only tasted it, they have a new beer that tastes like a peat-y single... More
