I stopped at Paillard specifically for macaron (I called it research). We purchased 6 different flavours to try. They were all delicious however, I should have eaten them the day I purchased them instead of waiting. Hard to look at the selection without feeling rushed and unsure of what you want, there was a line-up and I found the staff... More

Was wondering around the lovely City of Quebec and we saw this place and said why not the menu looked tasty, or should I say the food looked tasty. Proved to be a great place for a sandwich or salad, it would make a great place to start your day as well While some tables are for two or four,... More

I could have eaten 6 coissants but that would be wrong. Very busy - lots of local workers were eating (good sign) their lunches here. Good stop for a light breakfast, lunch or afternoon treat.

This place reminded us of Paris! Croissants of varying kinds, fresh bread, dessert and the best café au lait! Communal elongated tables. Comfortable atmosphere. Loved!

Enjoyed the Matin Combo twice (bacon and egg croissant with fruit), an apricot pastry and a very flavorful orange blossom pastry. Both the coffee and hot chocolate were nice. The staff are patient and proficient in interpreting the needs of tourists from many nationalities. Customer service is good and appreciated by this patron.

Stopped at Paillard for a quick sandwich and soft drink. Nothing special, just a typical ham and cheese croissant. We did take away a delicious blueberry pastry and cherry chocolate muffin for the next morning's breakfast. Prices are average to a bit more expensive due to the tourist area.

The croissant were very good. I am glad i pick this place over the Timmy or MCD just next door. This store is huge and staff are friendly. I didn't drink the coffee, but my in law say it is like water. There is room for improvement.

We enjoyed Paillard so much we are returning tomorrow. I had an egg and cheese croissant and coffee while my wife had a plain croissant with hot chocolate topped with whipped cream. The croissants were excellent and the egg/cheese on mine were perfectly cooked. Coffee was very good and my wife thought her hot chocolate was excellent. They had a... More

I went to Paillard with my parents in August. At the time we went in, it wasn't too busy and so we were served very quickly. We ordered 2 coffees, a mountain dew and three pastries - a chocolatine (aka. pain au chocolat), a croissant and some sort of apricot pastry which I forget the name of. All three were... More
