I'd never had properly made, fresh croissants before going to this bakery. And now I'm probably never going to be able to eat croissants anywhere else again. Absolutely nothing like anything I'd had before, really incredible.

Very good bakery/cafe, the service was good and the food was even better. Great spot for dessert and coffee.

This cafe is located on the popular Rue Saint Jean. It is a lovely street to walk on and this cafe is a nice place to stop and enjoy a meal or snack. The breads and rolls are delicious. We also enjoyed the soups and sandwiches. It is casual and not too expensive. It is a little noisy inside, but... More

Friendly, warm ambiance on a cold winter afternoon, but the high point is the breads and pastries. We enjoyed a terrific lunch of sandwiches made with wonderful baguettes. Returned the next day to sample their delicious croissants and to pick up a couple of sweet pastries to go. Reasonably priced, great location and delicious food.

We were shopping and wanted a break. Went into this charming cafe and had hot chocolate and croissants. The ambience is amazing; bright, spacious, clean. There are small bistro tables at the front or large communal harvest tables. The cafe was large and spacious and self serve. You ordered and then seated yourself. The ambience was enhanced by an accordian... More

We stopped in for a quick bite on the way to the airport. We had greek salad and the new yorkais and the legumes soup. It was all pretty good and it was a nice clean place.

The sandwiches (served both cold or hot) were satisfying but nothing special. The soup was delicious though! I didn't have the appetite for dessert which is too bad because that could have changed my overall impression as they looked extremely tasty. Overall, I wouldn't plan to stop for a bite here but if you're hungry and nearby, you'll be satisfied... More

This place was packed every time we visited...four times in three days! The coffee was the best we had in Canada. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. Despite the lines reaching the door, service was quick and efficient (even moreso if you speak French). There was a piano accordionist playing while we were there, which was great.

Was too busy at lunch….made it in the door after lunch hours…..friendly staff…good food for reasonable price. I guess Quebec City needs more places like this that have fresh baked good's to eat for a reasonable price.

When you walk in the door you will see two lines. if you want baked good go to the first line if you want food go to the second line. The baked good are really good. If you want to take something for later. I liked the one where the meat is baked right in. You can order take out... More
