we were starting our journey in upper old town Quebec but wanted to stop for lunch first. We past buy this place and it looked decent for sandwiches, soup, and salads so we decided to try it. Overall, the sandwiches were good; the soups were not good, and the salads were also good. The sandwiches had very good bread and... More

Myself and my friend loved this place, the much combos, and for several days we came back and back again for the other stuff! The atmosphere is great, and they have an accordion player in there giving it a European vibe! Also, they had a huge gelato counter and an even larger bread and baked goods aisle! We loved the... Buffet style. Serves excellent pastry, salads and sandwiches. Accordian player there during lunch. Food was delicious. They do serve beer and wine. Very reasonable pricing. Went twice for lunch

This place was recommended by my mother in law so my husband and I wanted to visit this pastry. We had nice macarons and croissants here. Next time we go this place, I think we will be buying a lot more of those freshly made croissants.

Lined up for the breakfast special of bacon and egg on a croissant with coffee/tea. Really worth the wait - the pastries for later were also excellent. I see why this place is so popular.

I wish that I had brought some back home with me. I have eaten croissants in France and the one's from Paillard are still in my top 3. The texture and taste is spot on.

If you're looking for an authentic French bakery with delicious pastries, look elsewhere. Unfortunately, I wasted a breakfast experience on this place due to great reviews....not sure what those people were eating. Almond croissants at this place are an abomination. This is a cafeteria-style gigantic place without any charm and outdated decor. If you're with a group of people, it... More

Their bakery was fantastic! We go there daily. They have a nice variety of breads and desserts, but you need to get there in the morning if you want to get first picks!

After a good dinner, my wife and I were looking for something small to share for desert. Lo and behold we ended up at this famous cafe and desert place. We shared a bowl of gelato (4 flavours: vanilla, milk chocolate with chocolate chunks, mint, and pistachio). Pistachio was our favourite followed by milk chocolate with the chunks! For my... More
