I was very hesitant to get a nice meal at a place which is a restaurant and a live band venue. What a mistake that would have been! The food and service were outstanding and unique. We had sweetbreads with a vegetable purée and beef with a foigras purée. Both were well balance flavors, flavorful and heavenly. For dessert we... More

We were in town for a music festival, and needed to find a place to eat something lighter by our next show, (at the Imperial). Le Cercle was essentially next door, and we could tell by the cool art and ambiance that we were in for a treat. Sure enough, the "Picnique" appetizer of cured meats, pickled veggies, and cheeses... This is a very hip place filled with locals and very few tourists. It has great music and cool decor. The drinks/cocktails are pretty good and the place also has some fancy snacks. We tried the salmon tartare and shared between the two of us. It was really good but maybe not worth the price.

The wine was great, and was worth the price but you can get better food for half the price at a pub.

Not sure what to expect even when we stepped into the restaurant. The server is very friendly and even sat down next to us to explain the menu in English. Very pleased and surprised by how the food were put together. Nice atmosphere if you need modern and enjoy electric music. Liked the bar design even we are not serious... More

Cercle got a reputation trought years... unfortunatelly they should try to keep their clients satisfied. The first thing is to be nice with them and I think respect and helpfulnees are not so hard to ask when you do customer service. I do live in Québec, in the quartier Saint-Roch, and I have attempted to eat at the cercle four... More

My Husband and I were in Quebec City, our first trip in 10 years without kids. We were looking for a restaurant that was close by our hotel and would be a good place to celebrate our 10th Wedding anniversary. We happened upon Le Cercle and we were very pleased. It was a great atmosphere and the food was amazing.... More

We stopped here for brunch on our last day in Quebec City as an alternative to our hotel and we were not disappointed. All four of us opted for "le grilled cheese" and it was served with homefries and a wonderful poached egg. In addition to the great coffee, it made for a filling and satisfying brunch. Service was attentive... More

Was there with my whole company colleagues and friends! it was a private event booked for us and we really had a great time! The wines served were fantastic, the starters/entres and the main course... everything was good. Its a fun place, excellent sound and our company band had a bash playing there for almost 2 hours!

On a Sunday night my family and I were looking for a place to eat before heading back to Montreal. Without reservations, they took the 5 of us in on the condition we would free the table within 1 1/2 hour for they had another reservations and were fully booked. The premises are nothing like you would expect in Quebec:... More
