A delicious meal on a quiet street in lower town.

We ate an early dinner and were delighted with our meal and the terrace table. This is a small bistro that would seat maybe 20 inside and 16 outside. While the menu is compact it has good range, the food is excellent and is definitely 'fit for foodies'. Service is attentive and staff actively seek feedback on the quality. We... More

We stopped in for a late lunch and were immediately seated outside for an excellent meal. Veal stuffed ravioli is not to be missed. Moussa the Senegalese assistant waiter was very attentive as was the waitress. A delightful experience!

We went for dinner. The owner is onsite and Is hands on. She is very nice. Great wine selection reasonably priced for lower Quebec City. Salads, fresh grilled vegetables with dinner, including fennel which was wonderful. I had a local fresh water fish that was cooked perfectly. She also offers price fair meals for $25 on certain nights. Our favorite... More

I had the Duck Confit and it was wonderful. I will now be comparing all other Duck Confit to Bistro du Cap. The service was very good and efficient. I was also very reasonable and enjoyable. We had a table outside on the patio on a quiet street just around the corner from the Hotel Le Germain - Dominion. Do... More

For a quick, inexpensive bite, come here for a terrific section of crepes. It's the perfect spot for lunch near the Museum of Civilization, with a small selection of outside tables. Nothing fancy, but authentic with friendly service.

This is a small, elegantly decorated bistro, in the heart of the Old City run by a husband and wife team. We were looking for a typical French bistro serving quality food and wine in an unpretentious, relaxed manner. This perfectly suited us. The food was well-above average, the service was attentive and charming, and the prices were reasonable. Highly... More

The best meal we had in Quebec City; wait, make that "meals" because we enjoyed our first dinner so much, we returned on our last night of the visit. This tiny tucked-away place in Vieux Port is everything you'd hope to find in storybook Quebec. It's run by a lovely couple. The food is classically delicious with high-quality ingredients perfectly... More

I was excited to try Cafe Bistro du Cap after reading all the reviews on here and I have to say my expectations were high for the food and I was disappointed. The service was great and the location was great but that was about it. I found the food to be very expensive for the quality. I will say... More
