Very nice and so friendly

This is real a good small restaurant to have a quick dinnet. I can recommend the "crepes Salées": so good! Et Madame, vous êtes charmante

We absolutely LOVED this little place for the atmosphere, and of course the food! I had the soup of the day which was a delicious vegetable soup, the fresh fish of the day which was salmon and the rhubarb crumble. My husband enjoyed the veal ravioli and the chocolate mousse. It was our favourite meal of our stay in Quebec... More

Having eaten in many of the restaurants in the Lower portion of old Quebec City, this restaurant/bistro just hits everything perfectly -- the food, the atmosphere, the service, and the timing of the meal. The owners run the restaurant - she the waiter, and he the chef - and as a team they produce an amazing experience, from appetizer to... More

Went to this restaurant based on Tripadvisor recommendations and were not disappointed. Wonderful, cute little restaurant in the old part of town that was just around the corner from our hotel. We were lucky enough to be there on a night when table d'hôte meals were available and had a fabulous meal including soup/salad, main course and dessert for $25.... More

This is our 4th visit to Cafe Bistro du Cap spread over 3 trips to QC. Each time the food has been divine. The beef carpaccio is amazing. My husband had the beef cheeks, which were the special and melted in your mouth. The menu and the venue are small but spectacular. The owner is charming and it's consistently mind... More

The hotel suggested this restaurant and it did not disappoint. From the friendly service to the excellent food, it was a wonderful experience. Recommended are the spinach/cucumber cream soup (today's soup of the day), the ravioli with veal and wild mushroom sauce, and the chocolate mousse. Everything else looked good as well. Great people watching from the outdoor area. I... More

The perfect quiet spot to sit outside and have a true French meal. If you want to get away from the tourist bustle and French fries and have a real French meal this is your place. It's affordable as well. Like a traditional bistro, the menu is small, the preparations are simple but perfect, and the daily prix-fixe is a... More

We had dinner at Cafe Bistro du Cap on our first night in Quebec and were not disappointed. This charming cafe is located just off Rue St. Paul in a quieter section of the city. We were greeted warmly by the owner who seated us at one of the six outside tables. Our food and wine were excellent from start... More

We ate an early dinner and were delighted with our meal and the terrace table. This is a small bistro that would seat maybe 20 inside and 16 outside. While the menu is compact it has good range, the food is excellent and is definitely 'fit for foodies'. Service is attentive and staff actively seek feedback on the quality. We... More
