Superb food!

We just stumbled on that little gem of a restaurant for lunch, and liked it so much that we decided to go back for diner! It is a very small cosy little restaurant that doubles in size in summer with a terrasse. The owners, chef and waitress, are very friendly and the food, very good! We will go... read more

My daughters and I were staying in the nearby le Germain hotel and wanted a nearby restaurant for a late dinner after a long day (and cold) day of sightseeing. It was a lovely experience. Service was friendly and efficient, food was very very good. My daughter said the pork belly was one of the best things she's ever eaten.... More

My wife and I had Cafe Bistro du Cap on our list of restaurants for our trip to Quebec City. The hotel gave us directions and it took us about 20 minutes (walking from upper town) to arrive at the restaurant (located in lower town). Once we arrived the wife (owner) was waiting for us since we had reservations and... More

My husband and I had dinner at Cafe Bistro du Cap after reading the impressive reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. This is a very small cosy cafe run by a friendly husband and wife team with delicious food. Our waitress gave us very helpful suggestions on the menu and wine list. We shared escargot in garlic butter... More

If you are looking for the needle in the HayStack. Look not further to sample one of the finest French Restaurants in QC. The Soup of the Day, Appetitzers, Entres and desserts are made daily. If you like wines from US, South Amercia or Europe, then they have choices. Very close to our ship docking and our AirBnB.

This bistro was recommended by two different hotels in the area. We had the hotel make a reservation as we've heard it can be quite busy (and on this rainy night we wanted to be close-by walking distance.) We were very surprised to be the only guests at our 8pm reservation but that just made it easier to offer terrific... More

This is a small husband & wife run restaurant and we enjoyed it so much for dinner one night that we returned for lunch the next time they were open after the holiday. I do recommend calling for a dinner reservation if on a weekend to ensure you have a table. The menu is small and food made with fresh,... More

This is truly an excellent restaurant. The food is wonderful and unique, and the employees friendly and efficient. It’s a cozy place, with the food prepared carefully for the customers. We had great conversations with folks from all over and felt as comfortable as in our own living room. We had dinner there twice during our three night stay in... More

Had a wonderful meal at this tiny bistro. We had the lamb shanks which were a treat. They were so helpful with our gluten free needs. Try the cheese plate!
