Everything about Cafe Bistro du Cap is small - the restaurant, the menu, the number of staff (we counted 4 including the cooks). Every dish we ordered was excellent - bouillabaisse, beef cheeks bourgignon, steak, veal ravioli. The wine list is unfortunately too limited and doesn't live up to the food, but the service was very pleasant, and we enjoyed... More

My sister and I recently spend three days in Quebec City. We were looking for somewhere to dine late Monday afternoon August 18th and decided to choose amongst the restaurants on this street. We stopped to read the menu at this restaurant first and continued down the street. Undecided, we retraced our steps and saw a lady placing a sidewalk... More

You can tell the owners take pride in their place and their food. Simple, small menu, but expertly prepared and delivered efficiently without being rushed. Tight space, but great atmosphere.

Stay away from this place, The service is horrible I stayed there for 40 minutes before they come to give me the menu then another 40 minutes before I can order. Really Rude owner and servers. It is not a clean place. There are many other places with much better food and friendly service Quebec City that you don't have... More

Don't let the small size fool you - the service and food are extra special! The owner is a lovely lady and the the food (which her husband cooks) is phenomenal! The wine selections were plenty and everything we ordered tasted fantastic.

Had a great salmon tartare and also beef carpaccio. Both were very tasty and the place was adorable with outdoor tables.

We were a bit disappointed showing up at this restaurant and finding it closed. Phoned ahead of time but no one answered and there was no special message to indicate that it was closed. Maybe next time... :(

Although the crepes were a bit overdone, they were still excellent. They offer a great choice and their sidewalk terrace is a great place to enjoy the old area. If you like crepes, this is a great place to savour the many offerings. We would return.
