Went with friends who are frequent visitors to Quebec but never managed to find this tiny bistro open. The restaurant is tiny with just a few tables. The menu is small but with a nice selection of bistro classics. In general the food was fine - nothing special but perfectly acceptable. Biggest surprise was the bill. This is pretty standard... The food was lovely, the service was wonderful, and the outside seating was cozy and situated on a quasi-pedestrian street in Old Town. It was a perfect way to start our visit! Between the four of us we had beef carpaccio, crab cakes, bouillabaisse, veal ravioli with mushrooms, the fish of the day, chocolate mousse, and profiteroles. None of the... More

Finely prepared food; small but delicious menu. Our party of four tried several different things: salmon ceviche, local cheeses, beef cheeks, fish, chicken…everything was delicious. Located in a charming and lively area of the old city.

Extremely clean and crepes were lovely. Quick service by friendly staff. Only crepes served on Saturdays so your choice is limited if not everyone wishing to have a crepe

We went here on a Saturday night around 7:00 and didn't have a reservation (the place we stayed didn't have a landline phone to make one), so I was worried - but thankfully for us the big crowd seemed to be in the upper city that evening. The lower city was quite quiet and we were able to snag a... More

We had the escargot, wild mushroom and veal ravioli, bouillabaisse, and creme brulee. All excellent. The outside cafe seating is comfortable and is in good spot near foot traffic but away from the street. My favorite place to eat in old Quebec City. I added some photos.

We ordered fish of the day and beef cheeks bourguignon. Both plates were very delicious and flavourful. The servers are very friendly and nice and the atmosphere is cozy and warm. If you want to have a great food I highly recommend this place.

We had a fine meal at this mom and pop bistro. I had the chowder fish stew, which was actually much better than I expected from the name. My wife had the duck, which was succulent and delicious. Very pleasant dining and well situated near the museum of civilization and the old port.

We followed other reviewers recommendations and went for dinner 6/20/14 and were not disappointed. A very cozy atmosphere, delightful service, and gourmet French food.
