Was fortunate to have reservations for an evening when the weather was beautiful, so the restaurant was set-up in the courtyard behind the hotel. The portions are reasonable (think typical French cuisine), and the food was outstanding. The dishes are a unique fusion of French technique applied to Canadian and Quebecois ingredients. We began with the parmesan fried suppli appetizer,... More

Tiny restaurant in a hotel. Nice bistro ambience with tolerable noise. Well informed wait staff. Unique food. For instance, I had "surf and turf" which unlike most (steak and lobster) was sweetbreads and fried octopus, well prepared and delicious.

Adventurous menu beautifully presented. Try the bison! Quite expensive but worth it. The setting is very romantic under a huge awning in a courtyard.

Fantastic dinner served to those loving meat and those loving fish. The foie gras was amazing. Love the relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. Very European - dining is an evening long experience.

The food here was great, but the service was even better. Our server obviously loved his job and it showed.

We went to Le Toast on suggestions from friends and the NY Times Top 10 and the concierge at our hotel. I couldn't wait for a great fois gras which was highly reccomended. Unfortunately the fois gras that was brought to me was not the one I wanted. It was cold and greasy. I told the waiter that he brought... More

I don't usually write bad reviews but this was a very disappointing restaurant. I was there for a business dinner with International guests and we had a limited set menu with only 3 choices of main dishes. Most of the way through serving the other guests there meals the waiter came and told me that he had ordered me the... More

There was nothing about this restaurant which did not deserve 5 stars. Service was friendly, professional, and incredibly informed. The food was beyond remarkable. For the presentation and package the cost was very reasonable. I don't often come across such a well rounded combination and I have zero negative comments. Excellent.

This restaurant was recommended by Veronique at the Hotel Le Germain. The atmosphere was great - an open air court nestled between a hotel and other buildings, thus muting any road noise. The chef prepares excellent, somewhat unique, dishes. Many fresh seafood items were on the menu. The wine list was modest in number of wines, but very interesting. Both... More

Comfortable and heated garden setting with pleasant service. 2 apps, 2 entrees, one dessert and a moderate bottle of wine with gratuity cost $250. It was a lovely experience - the food was beautifully presented with complex flavors. Portion sizes are respectable. I left comfortably full. The plastic covered dessert menu given is awful and needs replacement. Thank you
