Tasty but not the most vegetarian friendly

I had dinner here and, although it was delicious, there was only one real vegetarian option. If you are not a vegetarian the other options sounded great. It is a small place with good food so I forgive the lack of vegetarian options. I also had breakfast here (included with my hotel stay at Le... read more

My husband had the foie gras appetizer and the surf and turf which was octopus and sweet breads. Nice sized portions and put together very well. I enjoyed the tasting menu which included nine courses which were slightly larger then small bite plates. It was an excellent variety ranging from rabbit, bison, seafood, and delectable desserts. The service was very... More

We booked at Hotel Priori based on the simple premise that Toast was on-site & open on Monday. We were seated outside on the terrace, it was a very unique dining experience -4 guests beside us were extremely demanding(no pleasing them), the couple behind had a medical emergency and the table beside them brought a young child. Recipe for disaster?... More

Very good food, excellent service, good wine list. “Interesting” décor / lighting (almost seemed leftover from Halloween). A bit cramped. Busy, noisy - as is all too common these days. Modern Quebec / French cuisine. Recommended (except for a quiet romantic dinner!).

In the heart of Old Quebec's Lower Town, the setting for Toast is intimate, the cuisine innovative, and the atmosphere cozy. French cuisine at its finest.

4 years ago we had a really good meal and great evening in this quite small and personal restaurant. This time the welcome was just as warm and the service was just as attentive. ..however I didn't think the menu nor the food were as good. ..tho my wife who had the same main course as me thought the duo... Every dish we ordered had such fantastic flavor! Pricey, but worth it. Service was excellent. Great part of Town.

Small and beautiful place, very attentive service, awesome food, great wines! Reservation was made from the US prior to our arrival, and was necessary. Next trip to Quebec we will go back! C & B

We chose Toast for our final dinner in Quebec City and loved every minute. We were greeted in the small inn's reception area and escorted to a small, cozy, stone walled dining area with seven tables. The service was excellent and the servers were eager to explain the menu items. We loved the crostini and fried mozzarella appetizers. This is... More
