I had dinners at the Conti Caffe on two successive nights. As appetizer ("entrée"), on the first night I had the tatare de saumon avec sa salsa de langue, avocat et coriandre en millefeuille de taro- delectable. As appetizer on the second night the tian de polenta poêlé et de saucisse italienne sur tombée de tomates épicées was also very... More

Good french onion soup but spinach salad was bland, just basic spinach a few not so ripe mangos and a small piece of goat cheese. Also had a lunch fish dish which was ok fish didnt taste too... this restaurant was recommended by a hotel staff and I must say, if you can have the veal al limon, go for it! It was so tender, pasta was a little too cooked, however, was very tasty. Great service from all servers and assistant manager.

Since it was JULY, our table was next to an open window along the sidewalk. Nice club-like décor. A nice light supper of drinks, soups, salads and coffee was quite enjoyable. We liked the atmosphere! Cocktails reasonably priced, but wine by the glass was over-the-top. Food a bit high, but it was in the evening. Canadian taxes really raise the... More

Don't miss this little gem for good wines, delicious food and great service. Not much from the outside but delightful on the inside.

Happy to report that "Conti Cafe" saw us visit for lunch and then dinner the next day. Both very good meals. Chicken cordon bleu, fettuccine Alfredo for lunch...fried calamari (excellent), beef carpaccio, duck risotto and Osso buco. All very tasty, good presentation, as well. On a quiet night in the city, almost all tables filled with patrons. Waitress gave us... More

We had a wonderful lunch at this fine restaurant. For a moderate prize, you get a total experience -soup, main entree, dessert and coffee. Wonderful service. The restaurant is classy. Don't miss having lunch here. Very, very good.

We ate here twice before a few years ago and the food was great. This time was a disappointment . I ordered the Bavette which is tough unless prepared properly. I could tell from the delivery that this meat was going to be tough. And it was. Couldn't even cut it. By looking at the piece of meat, I wouldn't... More
