Excellent value, excellent food, excellent service

First of all, let's get this out of the way: the food is excellent. Their calzones are delicious, the dough is superb and you can tell that they use quality ingredients. Prices are very, very reasonbable, with calzones ranging from around 12$ to around 20$. And you won't leave hungry... The... read more

We went here based on reviews and were not disappointed - do not be put off by the location. The food was superb and the restaurant staff excellent and very attentive. We do not speak much french but that was not a problem - they were happy to talk to us in english. Would highly recommend this.

We have been in Quebec City for 7days, this was probably the best place to eat. The food was excellent, service was great (our French is not good), the restaurant was clean, and atmosphere was wonderful! Would definitely go back again! This is a great place to go if you are looking for a great meal, away from all the... More

The place is small and freshly remodeled. The people working there are genuine and fun. The food was tasty! Portions were on the large size for me but so good I managed to eat it all up anyway!

Friendly staff, great food (I have the Il Guiseppe). Almost had an appetizer but the calzone alone was enough. Going back soon enough.

Oh my... Best... Calzone... Ever! I had the il guiseppe - pepperoni, ham, sausage, onions and tons of cheese. It was honestly the best thing in a while. The restaurant is so cute, we sat on the patio and they really care about people eating out there. There were heaters and blankets available for use in case you got chilly.

When we travel we usually tried to visit a restaurant that has been reviewed on the food Channel with either the ''you gotta eat here'' in Canada or ''Diners Drive ins and dives in the US. We were in Québec city in May 2015 and decided to visit the Casa Calzone which had been reviewed on the food channel. The... More

This was you gotta eat here location number 47 for me and it couldn't have been better. The service from the start was friendly and efficient. The food was simply awesome. Fresh ingredients, perfectly made with more than ample portions. The place has a special ambiance to it with a quaint patio and make sure you make your mark on... More

Thanks to the Food Network and they're "Gotta Eat Here" show we discovered this place. We went to this restaurant in February and loved it! I called "en route" just to be sure we could get in and lucky I did. It was booked solid but they found us a table for two in a great little corner. It is... More
