Lunch

Great vegetarian mock meat food. There is lots of choices of food, the price is a little on the expensive side and portions are good for sharing. The resturtant is a distance from the city centre. We took a cab ride but was worth it

Went to this restaurant for our Anniversary. The staff accepted booking and they noticed we were exchanging gifts. The person asked us for the occasion. The food was Yum. Pad Thai was great. Chicken Satay was amazing. The restaurant has all dishes made Vegetarian but tastes like Meat. After we ate the food, we asked for Dessert menu and the... More

Vegan-Vegetarian Asian restaurant with faux meat and fish. We tried a thai beef dish, pad thai with "shrimp" and crispy "duck". Nice ambiance, wine, waiter... Not many gluten-free choices - only about 3 dishes as the "faux" food is full of gluten. Fairly pricey.

This was my second place in my quest to find the best vegetarian places in Montreal. And this time too I followed a review on TripAdvisor and it landed to me exactly where I wanted. The food was delicious and spicy as I liked it. The service was a true reflection of Oriental hospitality and the prices were surprising affordable

I decided to try this restaurant because we were going with friends who are vegetarian/vegan. Being a carnivore myself, I wasn't really sure what to expect, so I based my choice on other reviews. Located on a trendy street near downtown Montreal, parking is scarce and metered until 9 pm, so get there early. Our reservations were for 4 but... More

The food is good and the menu varied. A bit expensive for this type of place. If you are looking for a nice vegetarian place with a bit unusual food this is your place.

After reading the reviews I was expecting a good dinner but was very disappointed. Being a vegan my self I do a lot of cooking and when I was served oily mediocre food for such a price I felt really cheated. For starters we had the "Curry Puffs" which was basically small vegetable samosa's fried in stale oil and for... More

I dream about this restaurant, and I generally don't get excited about food. Absolutely delicious veg cuisine that is unlike anything I've had anywhere else. The peanut "chicken" and crispy spinach is a favorite, as is the wonton soup and "beef" dishes. And the coconut tapioca pudding!!! Ah. I've died and gone to Heaven.

What a treat to have a selection of "meats" that taste fabulous, but are vegetarian. The service was great and our server helped to ensure choices and drinks complemented each other. This restaurant tops my list for vegetarian options inclusive of ambience in a trendy district of Montreal.

We came with high expectations, and even those were exceeded by excellent service, excellent atmosphere, and excellent food! The prices are a bit steep, but it is well worth the price to experience fine vegetarian dining at least once when you're in Montreal.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
