If you like sushi without fish, it is the good place to go. Most of them (42 pieces meal) had surimi (artificial crab) in them. I can find better quality at a grocery store. Disapointing. Service was not friendly at all - we feel like we were not welcome in this restaurant.

If you are looking for a trendy sushi place for business lunch on the West Island - this is a very good choice. The food is prepared perfectly, fresh and a nice variety. Staff is welcoming and comes up with good suggestions to customers wondering what to order.

It's just a great Japanese restaurant. It is quite comfortable, with 'at ease' atmosphere, allowing you to enjoy talking, eating amazing food and feel great at the end of the night. The staff is very nice, the ambiance of Japanese decor and simplicity just make it all very enjoyable. I love the way they serve every dish, so minimalistic, so... More

Love this place. Sushi is always excellent. Service is always great. This is our go-to spot for the family in the west island. They always have fresh Uni too, yum!!

We came to this restaurant because we were given a gift certificate to dine here. The meal was nothing special. Unfortunately we did not see the list of chef's creations until after we ordered since they weren't in the main menu (they featured on a video loop on the TV). The best part of our meal were the desserts. The... More

Tucked away in the side/back of a strip mall, its hard to find but worth the search. Spacious ... the tables aren't crowded together like in some of the other nea by spots There are some nice private rooms also (for 10 or so) which can be reserved. The typical sushi rolls are great, as good or better than others... More

This was not my first visit to Aikawa as i had been here several times before over the past few years. The service and food has always been excellent. Of the few sushi restaurants that I have been to, Aikawa was in my opinion the best - a little more expense - but worth the trip. This was my first... More

loved everything we had! Did tell the waiter about my allergy, but the info did not make it to the chef. NO PROBLEM! They took it back with apologies (I did not eat it in error)

I am a frequent traveller and we have hundreds places like that in LA and San Francisco, but this one is quite a surprise, since it's not really in the heart of Montreal and you can't really find it if you don't know exactly where the location is. But it's a pleasant surprise, the variety of sushi and the delivery... More
