Speciality Dishes are Amazing

Besame Mucho - Oh my goodness - this is one of my favorite maki dishes in the entire city. I'd go to the Aikawa just for that one dish alone. But their lunch special - amazing too. And then there's the Sushi Pizza - and the Volcano - oh my. So much to love about this restaurant - and it's... read more

I have passed by this restaurant many times before on our way to another sushi place. Just want to stop by interior looks great and the service was excellent. The sushi was very well prepared, had enough ingredients inside, not too much rice. Value for money it was excellent, almost the same price as some all you can eat places... More

Please don't waste your time by looking at the menu. The key is to just order SPECIALS only!!! The SPECIALS are creations from the chef with mysterious names like 'Venus', 'Creations of the Sea' and 'The Volcano'. The platters served are a feast for the eyes and your taste buds. Without a lie: we have brought people here that did... More

Very enjoyable meal. We ordered the sushi for 3 so I cannot comment on the other menu items. Sushi was fresh and tasty and well presented. It would have been nice for the waitress to say what was on the plate, this way, when we return, we could ask for those specific items ..just a suggestion. I will return and... More

Aikawa is one of the best sushi in Montréal and the best in West Island. Sushis are so fresh that they melt in your mouth. Beautiful presentation, very tasty. colorful and very fresh. If your are not a sushi lover, try their initiation dish sushi. It is a good way to start. For group or business, they have private room,... More

I have been to Aikawa twice in the last 2 months. I really love sushi, though I cannot claim to be a connoisseur in anyway. The restaurant setting is very nice, well lit and tastefully decorated, which makes it a pleasant place to have an nice meal. The aspects of the business that let it down, in my opinion are... More

Really good food and good price. Service was slow but the owners actually came by to apologise and offer free desserts as compensation. 5 stars for service!

I had sushi with friends last night in the West Island and although this wasn't the first time they've ordered with Aikawa, it was my first time having their sushi. Not only was the sushi incredible but the things we had were so creative. And to think it was sushi delivered - still so fresh, presented beautifully and delicious. I... More

I was at Aikawa on the West-Island after a long break. Last visit was maybe over 2 years. The food quality remains spectacular, so does the presentation and the service is friendly and simple, in the right way. Make sure you choose from the Chef's specialities menu because that's where you'll find some wonders. Not exactly cheap when the bill... More

Good food and service. Lacks atmosphere. Try the specialty sushi. If you're in the west island you'll be hard pressed to find better.
