Excellent Sushi

We have tried many sushi restaurants on the west island, and this is now our favorite. From the simple sashimi to the specialty rolls, everything was fresh and delicious. They have many unique menu choices and we enjoyed them all. We will definitely be back.

I have been going here for years and I have always had a great experience! The food is amazing, the specialty sushis are so good! I lie to get the table d'hote, they offer 3 specialties (venus, queen of the sea, besame mucho). they are my 3 favourites. the green salad is awesome, the tempura is great and i also... More

Went here recently for a business lunch. By using colored soy wraps in addition to seaweed, this sushi restaurant is able to make colorful presentations of their dishes. Fish was very fresh. They have lunch specials and sampler plates if you do not know what to choose.

The chef creates new dishes names like The Venus and The Volcano. The waiters are very fast and friendly. Every time we have eaten there, the place is full of customers. Arrive early or make reservations. Can't wait to eat there again. (p.s. the ice cream and banana dessert is yummy.)

Been here many times and was back again on Friday with our office. Sushi was fresh, rolled well, and the ingredients and presentation are excellent. The place is hidden from the Main Street, but 100% worth the visit. We eat sushi once or twice a week, and this place is always on the list. It is not a dance as... More

Besame Mucho - Oh my goodness - this is one of my favorite maki dishes in the entire city. I'd go to the Aikawa just for that one dish alone. But their lunch special - amazing too. And then there's the Sushi Pizza - and the Volcano - oh my. So much to love about this restaurant - and it's... More

I have passed by this restaurant many times before on our way to another sushi place. Just want to stop by interior looks great and the service was excellent. The sushi was very well prepared, had enough ingredients inside, not too much rice. Value for money it was excellent, almost the same price as some all you can eat places... More

Please don't waste your time by looking at the menu. The key is to just order SPECIALS only!!! The SPECIALS are creations from the chef with mysterious names like 'Venus', 'Creations of the Sea' and 'The Volcano'. The platters served are a feast for the eyes and your taste buds. Without a lie: we have brought people here that did... More

Very enjoyable meal. We ordered the sushi for 3 so I cannot comment on the other menu items. Sushi was fresh and tasty and well presented. It would have been nice for the waitress to say what was on the plate, this way, when we return, we could ask for those specific items ..just a suggestion. I will return and... More

Aikawa is one of the best sushi in Montréal and the best in West Island. Sushis are so fresh that they melt in your mouth. Beautiful presentation, very tasty. colorful and very fresh. If your are not a sushi lover, try their initiation dish sushi. It is a good way to start. For group or business, they have private room,... More
