Great mojitos!

My husband and I enjoyed this restaurant very much. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy. Overall the food is very good. I like this Mexican restaurant much better than 3 Amigos, it has a better atmosphere. Love their Mojitos, a drink worth going for!

We made a quick weekend visit to Montreal last weekend and after our train ran out of food (??!!) on a 5 hr ride leaving us with nothing for 12 hours...we needed FOOD!! We decided on Mexican and this restaurant was a block or two away. It was not particularly busy on a rainy Friday night, and we were seated... More

Visited multiple times while I was in Montreal - always found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. Sit at the bar and ask for a meal recommendation, you won't be disappointed!

Have eaten at this place several times while we are in Montreal and have to say this experience was not good. Do not think we will be returning. Service was slow and they appeared not to really care about your needs. It was a weekend and the place was busy so you make allowances for the food being slow to... More

I want there with a friend of mine on a Friday night. It was pretty calm. Not super busy. We had some guacamole, fajitas and burritos. Everything was good. It's a very casual restaurant and food nothing fancy. Everything was tasty. Margaritas were great too but we did ask for the second round stronger drink.

There should be a category called good but I had to choose average. The plate was big but I'm not sure about 15$ for a burrito. It was a weeknight and it was quite busy so it has something that attracts people. There is a good atmosphere for drinks and appetizers.

Another excellent meal at Mesa 14. Plates are full, the food is tasty and the margharitas are excellent. They even have one of my favourite dessert: deep fried ice-cream! Not to be missed!

Came to celebrate X-mass with my company. We were placed on the 1st floor in a kind of private section. As our corner was tiny, we had to sit at 4 different tables which was not so convenient. But the atmosphere was nice, service was quite fast and the food was good. Minor disappointment was a waitress. We were around... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
