You should try the mix between pizza and spaghetti served at the same plate. The service is good as well.

We arrived late in Montreal. This Italian resto was closeby and served us with some good food. We had pizza and spaghetti carbonara. Was honest good food at good price/quality ratio. The chianti wine was cold but when at room temperature good average. Recommended place.

My family went there for a last minute dinner on a very busy downtown evening. They were able to accommodate 11 of us without a very long wait. Service was ok but we did not expect more... The spaghetti with meat sauce was good! My kids enjoyed the pizza.. One of our friends had penne with rose. I must say... More

Spaghetti Carbonara, veal Parmigiana, mille feuille, choco loco, coffee and an average bottle of Chianti. $86 including tax and a tip. This is more family style than high end Italian food. Family owned, lots of local eat there so busy.

Great food and great size on portions, definitely a must see place in Montreal, Quebec. I had the spaghetti combo with garlic bread.

Pretty much what the title says. The portions were huge, but it was so delicious that I finished everything. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce and a meatball, and my boyfriend had the pizza-ghetti. Everything down to the garlic bread was amazing! Service is decent, but the food is to die for. If you're hungry and on a budget,... More

I have been going there since my childhood, and I love the place and the old-fashioned feel of it. I love the desserts, the food is cheap, filling, hearty, not gourmet at but plentiful and satisfying. Always nice going there, I would recommend it for anyone who wants an unpretentious and nice meal.

I learned of this time-warp back to the 1950s from an 80-ish Montréal native to whom I'd had the pleasure of sitting beside on the Amtrak Adirondack from New York. So I definitely had to go. There was nothing I did not enjoy about my experience of the place, which is definitely not a mecca for seekers of haute-cuisine, alta... More

We always eat at Da Giovanni when travelling to Montreal. It is great tasting Italian food at very good prices. We both had the pizza-getti where you get both pizza and pasta. It tasted great. Our server did not speak English well but was helpful as she got an interpreter when we asked a question she did not understand.
