I have been to Montreal three times now in the last five years and I have had a hard time finding a great restaurant especially one that wouldn't break the bank. The scallops were amazing the salad was great and the risotto was cooked to perfection. The waitress outside was very friendly. Word of advise don't even bother looking for... More

The food was ok. I got food poisoning the day after.. I went to LeMEac for brunch and ate out at dinner as well, so it could have been either ways.. The menu did not have much for vegetarian and the food we got was ok. The service wasn't that special... It looked to me to be a fancy place... More

Party of four celebrating a business deal with brunch. The other three enjoyed their meal - mine (chocolate banana bread pudding) was terribly sweet and I have a sweet tooth. As said in the title, ambiance was pleasant and airy, service was a fine balance between chatty and proficient. The location was great and seemed to be in an up... More

Visited for dinner with family during a brief vacation in Montreal. Restaurant was on a lovely street a bit removed from the main part of the city but easily reached by taxi. We had a very helpful waitress who assisted with certain food allergies and restrictions. The chef was very accommodating and changed certain preparations to accommodate our needs. Save... More

Went for lunch. The tables outside were all taken. Sat inside the restaurant. Immitation stone flooring, simple off white walls , rectangular tables with woodden chairs. A large bar as you enter. Were given a table which did not quite suit us. The waiter immediately offered another table. Lunch has a very reasonable menu with appetizer and main course for... More

LeMeac was our first meal in Montreal, and I definitely got the little bistro feel that I was seeking. The ambiance was relaxed and casual, and all of our fellow diners were effortlessly chic and easygoing. The wine list was great, and we didn't order anything we didn't enjoy. There weren't any standouts, although I would order their moules frite... More

I tried the Crab cake and it was very good and for the main I tried the Braised beef short rib (The best I have eaten so far). The service was good but I must say the waiter was quite arrogant for some reason so when you go expect it. The petiti pain perdu must be tried when one goes... More

went to this place with 4 other people and made a reservation for 5 at 11:30am. When i arrived, the girl at the door showed us our table, which is a table for 4 with an extra chair to make it 5. I asked if it is possible to add a table to have a bit more space. The reply... More

We happened to grab lunch based on a colleague's recommendation and we were beyond pleased! Try the smoked salmon salad or the lobster salad- so simple and fresh. The mushroom ravioli and the crabcakes were also divine! Such a balance of flavors. Great ambiance as well!
