although I live in Montreal this was my first visit to Lemeac. I had heard very good reviews and I was not disappointed. I had the calmars et courgettes grillées as appetizer and the salmon tartar as a main. I opted for the classic version a bit spicy , and it was delicious !! I did take the healthy option... More

The prix fixe Toulouse sausages with herbed mashed potatoes and apricot sauce were excellent; rest of the meal not so much. Steak tartare had a lot of Dijon mixed in overwhelming the taste of the meat while the arugula salad very tart with no discernible seasoning. Why the single ravioli that comprised the prix fixe appetizer was at an extra... More

Great in everyway. The Classis LeMeac is the same great service and food quality year after year. You can eat from the Ragout d'escargots to a fantastic confit and never be soory of your choice. The lunch Menu is amazing. We love LeMeac for many many years.

I was only in Montreal for two nights and had dinner at LeMeac for one of them. It was absolutely delicious. My boss and I went together. The server was well versed in the wine list. We started with the Ragoût d’escargots au basilic, portabelle et tomates confites (Escargot with basil, mushrooms and tomato confit). It was really good. The... More

Great anytime, but their late-night menu (arrive after 10pm) is excellent, and all with the same great service and atmosphere you'd expect.

I have heard about this restaurant for years and was finally happy to try it. It was around mid-december for a business lunch. The restaurant was full. A very jet set Outremont restaurant. The service was really nice. A varied lunch menu with lots of chef recommendations. I had the classic ravioli mushroom as an appetizer. It was sincerely decadent.... More

I took my husband here for his birthday & we enjoyed every bite. Whenever I'm in Montreal, I always try to make a stop here, whether it's for brunch or dinner. We ordered the grilled calamari, escargots, beef tartare with frites & the braised beef short rib. We shared an amazing bottle of tuscan wine (forgot the name), and finished... More

I've tried the Filet Mignon and the crème brûlée at Lemeac. The Filet Mignon was very good and the crème brûlée is one of the best (if not the best) I've had so far. Looking forward trying it again next summer on the terrace.

No doubt this is a 5 star resto. The mussels were amazing. The crabcake was incredibly delicioius. Awesome wine list. One of Montreal's finest restaurants.

Good food and friendly staff. But the service is very slow - it took them almost 40 minutes to serve our starter after taking the order!
