Went there with some friends and really enjoyed the smoked meat sandwich. Found the draught "Vieux Montreal" tasted like watered down bud light but the waitress had told me some ppl like it and some ppl hate it...I should've figured the ppl who "liked it" drank bud on a regular basis lol. She was... read more

I ate here with my family as it was on our way home. The service was friendly and efficent. The tables were clean and well presented. The menus were a little complex with lots of specials and offers, but the server was knowledgable and helped us out. I found the service was timely. Not expensive and we were all happy... More

Great french fries, too. A surly waitress was all part of the show. This is a cool joint for anytime, day or night.

This place is really common. Pizza isnt good at all. Burgers are ok. If you want a traditionnal egg and bacon breakfast dor 5$, thisnis good but for a dollar more, La bineriebis a way better choice just 50 feet after. If its gettong late, then fameux becomes an option

Great prices, good location, and extensive menu. We enjoyed the smoked meat sandwich and poutine - wonderful for some out-of-towners! Our children really liked the kids' menu. The staff were very friendly and welcomed us to Montreal. Overall, a fun first-night restaurant experience after a long road trip.

Staying in Parc du Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Parc du Mont-Royal
Montreal was named for this hilly highland, where the tallest spot in the city overlooks its most extensive parkland. The greenspace of Parc du Mont-Royal is an outdoorsman's dream, with hiking trails and nature walks that cater to every season and level of athlete. In the winter, cross-country skiers, tobogganers, and ice skaters don their equipment by Beaver Lake and its pavilion, while the warmer months bring families and competitors to the pitches of Jeanne-Mance Park for tennis, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, or a dip in the community pool. A perfect spot for a stroll or a picnic, the forest foliage is dotted with sculpture art and offers views of some of Mont-Royal's oldest edifices, the towering St. Joseph's Oratory and the mausoleums of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges. Home to musical celebrations and twilight snowshoeing alike, visit here to walk, write, rest, think, or just be.
