you are looking for an Italian restaurant that is worth to visit? Strega is the place worth visiting. This is a tasty menu and for all budgets, staff offers a superb service. during the summer, the large terrace on the street gives you a festive and access to the street directly with any pedestrians

La Strega is a packed, little restaurant with great food. The prices are surprisingly low. Their specials list is the best bet. Summers, they build a deck out into pedestrianized Ste. Catherine's street but those table are hard to get.

Pardon the lame attempt at a multilingual pun, but I'm very tired. What wasn't lame was our experience with La Strega. Recommended by the manager of our B&B as the place locals go for inexpensive but damn fine pasta we walked the 12 blocks in a light rain. I will gladly do that walk again. Fresh hot crusty rolls appeared... More

It wouldn't be a trip to Montreal without a dinner at La Strega. We have been eating there for nearly 15 years. We remarked that it is hard to believe you can still get a wonderful pasta for $9.95. Service is fine and it's the perfect place on a quiet evening when there are only a few tables of guests.... More

Delicious food, friendly service & very reasonably priced even the wine. A must in the Village. Within walking distance from Beaudry Metro station and La Maison Radio Canada.

fixed menu was great and it was packed as there was a parade occurring outside. Great place to duck away and get some R&R and service was very good (especially as the place was PACKED!)

Service was pleasant and the terrace was nice overviewing the gay scene. But food was less than average (pasta, salad...) The tiramisu was totally washed out, absolutely uneatable... Won’t return !

This restaurant has been consisently always providing excellent Italian meals at a great cost value for over 9 years that we have been dining here. We dined here every evening for 4 nights in a row most recently; and we will miss having our evening/lunches here. The food is prepared individually and not premade; and it is soooo delicious!! We... Ok pasta restaurant. Overall, it's real strength is eating there in the summer with the street closed off, patio and fun vibrant community.
