This place is not even close to doing justice to Italian cuisine. If you have any Italian blood running through you, stay away! It may do for anyone looking for a decent meal but for an Italian it is a complete insult.

Let me start off by saying the food was very good here. A friend & I shared an appetizer and bottle of wine. We had not seen one another for several years, so we were chatting away for a couple hours. We had 2 separate waitresses come up to us during that time asking us to cash out since their... More

I do not want to give anytime away but the washrooms are amazing. Right, the important stuff. The food excellent, the service first class, but the decor, well to a European it seems a touch dated and dark, found reading the menu a challenge. Very good value for money.

Very good food! Everything is on a table d'hôte menu! The service is very good! You have to check out the washroom! You'll be back in time! ;-)

Food was good. Restaurant was unique. Saw our waitress once. Pizza looked awesome. We had great fettuccine Alfredo. Noodles were hot!! Not used to that in the states. Would be great for family and friends. Just hope service improves. We didn't let it upset us but it was a little disappointing.

The meatball appetizer was enormous; could have just had this as the meal. The pizza was ok, looked better than it taste. The mushroom pasta was excellent. Would return just for the patio,

We were informed that they do not serve alcohol but a quick visit to a shop across the road soon sorted the wine issue. Escargot for starters followed by a veal ravioli and pesto sauce. Delicious. Also came with a ceaser salad. Would definitely return to dine. Had a slightly higher class feel about it and was definitely more formal... More

I'm extremely biased to all Italian restaurants because I still eat my grand mothers home made italian food, so saying that Mozza was not bad is a compliment. I was shocked by the 25$ price on the bocconcini & prosciutto pizza, but it does come with two appetizers, which is a pretty good deal. Pizza was thin, not quite fully... More

I left the village district 3 years ago. Mozza stayed and didn't changed. Yes, there are more lights and more disco in the bathrooms... but the pastas are the same, the signature dishes are still the same, the menu is still the same. I'm even wondering if the clients are not just the same. In a word, Mozza is a... More

Staying in The Village (Gay Village)

Neighborhood Profile
The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomized by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
