The food is fine but the experience is, well, degrading! Especially to Montreal visitors or those who are not personally friendly with the management. Do yourself a favor---have a better dining experience and protect your self-esteem by eating at another Montreal kosher establishment

I was not pleased with the self-service...Since I've eaten at many non-K Chinese restaurants, the food here was very mediocre. Kam Shing-Cote des Neiges Plaza wins out.

Service, as others here have mentioned, was non-existent until you practically shoved your nose into the old man's face, and even then, it was quite slow. Prices were quite high: $12 for a smoked meat sandwich with a few slices of pickle and a 2 tablespoons of mediocre coleslaw, with no fries; $17 for General Tao chicken heavy on the... More

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, I MEAN, EVER!!! So, I live across the street from Chez Benny. I went there a few times and started noticing how bad their customer service is. I went there 4 or 5 times before I just couldn't take it anymore. They treat their customers like they are doing them a favor by taking their... More

Cafeteria style (order, pay, tray to table) so not really for celebrations but the food satisfies. A limited Chinese menu and more extensive MiddleEastern grill- so there's something for everyone. Parking is difficult, and the place is crowded and noisy on a Sunday evening, but it's quick none-the less.

This is a great place. Not fancy at all, but a huge variety of dishes from israeli food, to chinese food and sushi. Good price for what you get, chinese dishes are very big and you can share. Shwarma is really tasty.

A great stop if you like middle eastern food! My personal favorites are schnitzels and kefta, the plate is $15 or so and you get a fresh and hot pita with a lot of salads to go with your plate. Very good falafel as well and it's Kosher.

Nobody knew where to go when we went in, despite that the place was empty. The line looks like a buffet on the left, but the cash register was on the right. We finally got someones attention and found that you start at the cash register, where the screw up your order, as previously described. Then you take your own... More

Looking for a place to find a post-funeral lunch for an eclectic group of friends, Chez Benny was the perfect answer! The salads were perfect; the schwarma, everything the customer next to me said it was - WOW!

Best shwarma in Montreal? If that's right, then the shwarma choices in Montreal are pretty bad. Pita was day-old hard, chewy and not heated or toasted, chicken is the only choice (anywhere else in the world they would have lamb and/or beef as well) and the toppings had no flavour - cheap ingredients. Chinese food was even worse - cooked... More
