Excellent basque tapas

Lovely little resteraunt on Rue Roy east. Great tapas, friendly staff and lovely ambience. I took a card so I can come back. Highly recommend the tasting menu.

It was our second time at Pintxo and we were wondering why took us so long to come back. We shared 7 dishes and they were all great from the marinated sardine to the stuff fig. All carefully done and well seasoned. The cocktails were also great. The flow of plates coming our way was perfect and at no time... More

We were back after a few years and with no particular reason for such a long delay, the previous experience was excellent. It was a snowy day with the streets half obstructed with snow and parking a little scarce. Still, it wa as we remembered it, small, cosy and friendly. Menu was varied and the waitress patiently answered all of... More

This is a lovely place for a romantic date as the small tapas type plates are made to be shared (although each could easily be eaten by one). You can choose to have a package of a few pintxos chosen by the chef followed by your choice of main course or may choose about 8 to 10 pintxos to share... More

Pintxo delivers a memorably evening / a delicious culinary night out! We were three guys traveling to Montreal on business and we had 10 different plates. If you especially want any single tapas, make sure to order two of the same dish, each small plate serves two people. The service was attentive, informative but did not hover. Might be the... More

Our host Albert at Le Relais Lyonnais recommended this delightful restaurant just north of Sherbrooke. We had travelled all day and wanted a restaurant within walking distance, with smaller portions. Tapas is always good but perfect that night. A large but well-planned menu, ranging from vegetarian to fish and meat. We were not familiar with the Spanish wines and asked... More

I planned to go to this restaurant for some time. It was on the top of my list. Spanish (Bascque) tapas, great reviews. When I saw it on the list of MTL à TABLE I jumped - we have to go. MTL à TABLE has three price categories. Pintxo was at the highest - alongside with Chez L'Épicier, Chez Queux,... More

The food is beyond exceptional. We had an assortment of 8 tapas dishes. Each one brought with it a new taste sensation. Outstanding options were the seared scallop and the foie gras. We also loved the garlic prawns - beautifully fresh, cooked to perfection in a wonderful sauce. The stuffed figs were superb, cooked with cheese. A really unusual but... More

This was simply our best meal on a recent trip to Montreal and Quebec City. Our knowledgeable, professional server provided spot on recommendations, steered us from a couple of dishes about which she felt less enthusiastic , and ended up orchestrating an integrated repast of harmonious dishes punctuated by imaginative counterpoints of tastes and textures. The ability to sample such... More

We were there with a friend and the meal was excellent. The server provided a good level of service, and the food was well delivered at the right spacings. The lamb I had was not Canadian, which was disappointing, but was still excellently spiced with the right combination of latin spices. Overall a good night. Please note. The resto is... More
