Very good food, in big portions. Nice, cosy environment and very interesting drinks, such as white sangrya. The service of the restaurant was very good too!

Great vegetarian, really nice staff. Everyone goes here, McGill students, hipsters, parents and student kids, it can be crowded but that's part of it's fun.

Food was absolutely great. Everyone in our party is an omnivore and no one felt "deprived" that our meals were meatless. We had tomato pie, curry, and lasagna. I was not crazy about the salad, but I don't care for beets even in little tiny strings. I would encourage you to make a reservation and don't be in a hurry.... More

Our son suggested this as a local McGill University eatery. What a treasure! (There is another just east of this one at 4581 ave du Parc). It is small so it fills fast. The service is prompt and friendly. My chili was nicely spiced, my wife's frittata of asparagus was tasty, and the nachos are amazing. The curry looked very... More

This is the sort of restaurant that puts others to shame. We ate three meals at Lola Rosa during our week in Montreal both lunch and supper. The food tasted great. It happened to be vegetarian, but the flavors were fantastic. We both eat meat, but we didn't miss anything. The atmosphere was buzzing, both when full with a queue... More

The spinach cheese was epic and the curry probably the best I've tasted when compared to even most Thai restaurants that I've visited. Having such great meals we had to hold out and grab deserts who h also exceeded our expectation. Can't go wrong with the pineapple lime cheese cake. Loved this places energy, even when full, didn't feel hectic... More

Charming little restaurant, with a large variety of cuisine types. Generous portions, that will easily satisfy a variety of appetites. There aren't a lot of tables, so if possible, try to come here during non-peak hours, of expect a bit of a wait.

Had a burrito and IPA beer. Both were very good. This is definitely a university haunt which makes it a little loud an difficult to talk but not overwhelming. The crowd is dominated by those in their early 20s. Great food though and friendly service. Would definitely come back.

We arrived on a evening without a reservation and were lucky to get a great table. The place has a very comfortable feel to it and the staff was super nice and helpful. This was all great already, but the food made it even better. There is the exactly right not-overwhelming amount of choice and all our dishes were delicious.... More
