Les Duex respects vegetarians as much as it does carnivores. There is no menu, just two tasting options one veg one meat. Go ahead, let them choose the meal for you. Onion poutine with squash and beet, parsnip gratin, pasta with leeks. Sophisticated food in a hip but warm setting. Great music.

We had a 4-course tasting menu, both vegetarian and non and were very pleased by the portion size. Almost too large! Attentive service and unique flavors. Love the open kitchen and decor as well.

After reading countless positive reviews of this restaurant, we finally had a chance to experience it one recent Saturday night. To begin with, this restaurant was quite small yet tastefully decorated and well spaced out... cozy and a little funky. The service overall (as expected) was very good and the wait staff was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. I would classify... More

Went there for New Year's Eve and it couldn't be better. Their menu allows to try from 5 different dishes that are all very well thought of. All flavors mix very well in each course. The people that helped us were both bery nice and gave their best to make that night a very special one. Would go back without... More

The vibe, staff, price, quality and service. All 5/5. I have a little bias as I am friends (only after going) with the staff, but this place is just insane. From Sean manning the Chef, to Sean and Nada serving, Eli and Curtis heading up the Sous, this is just an experience. We go everytime they change up the tasting.... More

This small restaurant in Montreal is simply outstanding in every respect, from the menu, to the decor and the service. The meal that I had there was one of the best that I have had in any restaurant. Perfectly prepared. The ingredients are fresh, but put together in such a way that it creates almost a new taste in your... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
