I was really amazed by the view of the restaurant. I loved the space, it is very simple and elegant at the same time. But what really astonished me was the quality of the food attached to an extremely good price, plus the service was very good and kind.

The cafe at Pointe-a-Calliere was a convenient spot to have lunch after finishing two exhibits and needing a break before viewing the Marco Polo exhibit. We visited on a beautiful sunny weekday in early September and were seated on the narrow balcony. The service was very good. Our waiter was friendly. Between his limited English and my limited French, we... More

This is the Pointe a Calliere museum restaurant. From here you have a view of the port. The food and service were very good. If you are visiting the museum and need a break from the exhibits this is a good choice.

Rated average because of limited menu, and language seemed to be an obstacle, otherwise would be 3.5 to 4 stars easily. We randomly saw the outdoor patio umbrellas from the street and decided to give it a try. Nice simple décor, great views. Okay staff. First waiter seemed like he wanted us to speak French, addressing us in French for... More

Many museums have cafés. Few are this interesting. The two of us had the Eggs Benedict (fun variations with salmon and pork) and the salmon/bagel/cream cheese. Both very nice. With a glass of wine each, total was C$65 total with tip. Service was very efficient. We were there for Saturday lunch and were glad we had a reservation. Not sure... More

We'd read several reviews suggesting this cafe was above average. We agree! The salads were very fresh and tasty. My wife had the carrot soup which she said was terrific. And I had the crepes which were fantastic!! Service was friendly, although a little slow. If you go here get the crepes. They were seriously delicious.

A lovely place for lunch, especially if you can book a table on the balcony. If you know the weather will be fine, book the table a day or two ahead. Tables outside are for 2 only except the end ones which could accommodate 3. We were three, and two had the soup and I had legumes confites" cooked cold... More

So who would think of eating in a museum? L'Arrivage is on the top floor and only serves till the early afternoon. But the food quality and service were wonderful. I had the fish of the day, which was deliciously cooked. The dessert is a surprise - and had the ladies raving.

Perhaps one of my brunch companions would give 4 stars for the brunch we had, but I was not as fortunate. They were out of the wine I asked for and had no suitable substitute. My omelet was dry, the confit almost non-existent, the purée too sweet, the veggies too bitter and the whole thing wasn't hot enough. My companions... More

I have been to this restaurant a few times and will be going again on June 10th. I am looking forward to the meal. The food is excellent as is the service. The set gourmet lunch menu is wonderful and very affordable. This restaurant is located in Old Montreal and is in the Montreal Museum of Archeology and History. Reservations... More
