We always made a habit of eating at L'Arrivage on our annual Montreal trips, and it was uniformly wonderful until about a year and a half ago, when for whatever reason, the experience was uniformly horrible, from service to food. Recent reviews, however, persuaded us to return, and we loved it once again. Our server seemed a bit confused, but... More

Excellent lunch menu. Very impressed. The dishes were amazing; they were cooked and presented to a high standard. Scenic view of the old port. Delightful service. Definitely recommend. Reservations Recommended.

Located within the Pointe-à-Callières museum, this lovely place offers a great view of the port, and a very tasty fixed price lunch. Service was friendly and prompt. Really a notch above most museum restaurants.

This is a magnificent place for a Sunday brunch, high enough up to look out over parts of the Montreal waterfront. The restaurant serves the always interesting Pointe-à-Callières museum, which has exhibitions on Montreal history and some intriguing archaeological vestiges down in the basement level, at what was the original level of early city development in the 17th century. The... More

This delightful restaurant is a great brunch spot. The the decor is modern, the restaurant is well-lit and it offers a great view of the old port. They accommodate big groups and young children and the service is very friendly. The food is the best part of this place with a varied and creative twist - definitely not your average... More

Great view of the port. Overall the entire experience was overshadowed by the terrible service. After we received our meal, we never saw our wait staff again (no water refills, no coffee, no bill etc.). Hoped for a different experience since our walking guide highly recommended this establishment (Sept 21, 2013).

L'Arrivage is in the museum at one end of the waterfront and it's too bad it's only open for lunch because the food was delicious and entrees were all under $20 with an appetizer and dessert! Not your typical fare, L'Arrivage marries an interesting array of ingredients into wonderfully tasty food that appealed to everyone from our 9 year old... More

This restaurant is located at the top of the Museum Pointe-à-Callières in Old Montreal. The view from the restaurant is overlooking the port of Montreal and some guests are lucky enough to have a table outside. I went there for lunch with my French clients who just had a big brunch so apparently I was the only one that was... More

Our group of four decided to head down to the Old Port again for some excellent dining. We were surprised by the amazing atmosphere. The server was not fluently bilingual so we had some difficulty learning about the menu however we were pleasantly surprised that we would receive a three course meal for one low price. We started with appetizers... More

This was yet another wonderful aspect of the Pointe a Calliere Museum (see seperate review). We went on a Monday and had no trouble getting a table. We chose to sit outside due to the gorgeous Montreal Day, so we had a wonderful view of the Port, Habitat etc. Our servers were efficient and friendly. We had beat off the... More
