Many museums have cafés. Few are this interesting. The two of us had the Eggs Benedict (fun variations with salmon and pork) and the salmon/bagel/cream cheese. Both very nice. With a glass of wine each, total was C$65 total with tip. Service was very efficient. We were there for Saturday lunch and were glad we had a reservation. Not sure... More

We'd read several reviews suggesting this cafe was above average. We agree! The salads were very fresh and tasty. My wife had the carrot soup which she said was terrific. And I had the crepes which were fantastic!! Service was friendly, although a little slow. If you go here get the crepes. They were seriously delicious.

A lovely place for lunch, especially if you can book a table on the balcony. If you know the weather will be fine, book the table a day or two ahead. Tables outside are for 2 only except the end ones which could accommodate 3. We were three, and two had the soup and I had legumes confites" cooked cold... More

So who would think of eating in a museum? L'Arrivage is on the top floor and only serves till the early afternoon. But the food quality and service were wonderful. I had the fish of the day, which was deliciously cooked. The dessert is a surprise - and had the ladies raving.

Perhaps one of my brunch companions would give 4 stars for the brunch we had, but I was not as fortunate. They were out of the wine I asked for and had no suitable substitute. My omelet was dry, the confit almost non-existent, the purée too sweet, the veggies too bitter and the whole thing wasn't hot enough. My companions... More

I have been to this restaurant a few times and will be going again on June 10th. I am looking forward to the meal. The food is excellent as is the service. The set gourmet lunch menu is wonderful and very affordable. This restaurant is located in Old Montreal and is in the Montreal Museum of Archeology and History. Reservations... More

We always made a habit of eating at L'Arrivage on our annual Montreal trips, and it was uniformly wonderful until about a year and a half ago, when for whatever reason, the experience was uniformly horrible, from service to food. Recent reviews, however, persuaded us to return, and we loved it once again. Our server seemed a bit confused, but... More

Excellent lunch menu. Very impressed. The dishes were amazing; they were cooked and presented to a high standard. Scenic view of the old port. Delightful service. Definitely recommend. Reservations Recommended.

Located within the Pointe-à-Callières museum, this lovely place offers a great view of the port, and a very tasty fixed price lunch. Service was friendly and prompt. Really a notch above most museum restaurants.

This is a magnificent place for a Sunday brunch, high enough up to look out over parts of the Montreal waterfront. The restaurant serves the always interesting Pointe-à-Callières museum, which has exhibitions on Montreal history and some intriguing archaeological vestiges down in the basement level, at what was the original level of early city development in the 17th century. The... More
