My favorite breakfast place.

I love eating here, the atmosphere is unique and the food is mouth watering. I recently noticed there new menu and was pleasantly surprised. They have Gulten free choices. My favorite dish of french toast with caramel and strawberries was amazing. I love the mini caserole dish to keep my sause... read more

Best breakfast in Montreal, just fabulous. Get there early (before 9am) on weekends. Blueberry pancakes full of berries, whole-grain toast if you want, real maple syrup, good coffees and teas. Lots of little extras, and the staff is very pleasant and invested in providing good service.

Went for breakfast on a weekday, so there was no line up and we go seated fairly quickly although we had to wait at the hostess stand for quite a few minutes before beng seated. The place was packed nonetheless for 9am. Breakfast was good, but when they start charging you extras for "real" maple syrup, I mean common. We... More

My father had recommended the place on Beaubien street. The food was supposed to be very good. I would not know since we waited an hour and never got our food. My husband, my father and I has just come back from the airport. We were looking for a nice place to have lunch. It was about 2:30 PM, way... More

and it was very good. This is a brunch restaurant so don't expect 5 star but as far as brunch restaurants go, this gets my highest vote. The food was fresh, the line was long and it was worth the wait. We had the, Mykonos omelette, the Danemark and the Montreal. it came with fresh fruit, home fried potatoes, whole... More

The decor is modern and quaint (if that makes any sense!). The restrooms are well decorated with chicken sounds in the background - nice touch. Food was quite good and not expensive. The espressos were good. Service was pleasant and efficient.

It is just a pleasure to finish waking up to the smell of Egg benedict with melted brie on a baguette. Value was good and they had real expresso. Tried on another day another brunch on the same street and regretted not to have gone back to that place.

Staying in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie

Neighborhood Profile
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.
