Sweet tooths for all moments of the day

We came for rather late dinner and place was still very busy, with cosmopolitan crowd. Staff by time seemed overwhelmed and we settled for crepes sarasin. They were very tasty and actually we felt having enough with just that, despite the very interesting choice of sweets that could follow. So we... read more

I went to Juliette et Chocolat on our last trip to Montréal in May. We actually found the place here on Trip Advisor in the past. That night, it was a very busy night at J et C, so we had to wait a bit before getting a table. It isn't an issue. It's quite the normal thing if you... More

During our four day trip to Montreal we visited Juliette et Chocolat three times. Our son loved the classic style milk chocolate hot chocolate but all the three dark chocolate loving adults swooned over the Grandma's style dark hot chocolate. We also tried several different brownies; the intense was the best! We also had the opportunity to visit the Centropolis... More

Went here on a very hot and very busy nite. We were seated in 2 minutes and the service was good. We had a hot chocolate a l'ancienne, and shrd a strawberry crepe. The hot chocolate was as good, if not better than the hot chocolate they serve at Café Angelina in Paris. Kudos to J&C!! Job well done!! Although... More

The location is excellent. The iced tea and iced coffee were both delicious. The staff were so nice, their positive attitude was somewhat contagious. It just made for a very nice experience, I would certainly go back.

This place was recommended to us by a tour guide and we were not disappointed. We just went for dessert and I had a hard time trying to chose something from the menu as it all sounded amazing. I went with the brownie tasting plate - 5 mini brownies of your choice and a little bottle of milk - so... More

I went to Juliette et chocolat because I wanted to try the best brownies of my life and, to be honest, I was disappointed. They were very chocolaty which is good. But they were very grainy. The chocolate would melt in my mouth and leave a sandy texture behind. I did not like it at all. The best I had... More

They have the best hot chocolate. Try the Peruvian dark. Also the dessert - i called it cream in a jar - the hazel nut version is to die for.

We visited Juliete after lunch a few days ago--4 adults and 4 kids under 12. We ordered 8 different desserts and each were absolutely delicious. Wow. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Montreal.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
