My sister, nephew and I went to the St. Catherine location yesterday to meet up with one of her friends. The decor and ambiance was cute. In terms of food, I was shocked to know that i was going to be ordering something. I had originally gone with her just for the walk. I have a a gluten allergy and follow... More

During a raining day, was the perfect stop to get our strengths up again. I got a delicious brownie with nutella (vegan) that was really really tasty and a passable cappuccino (it is actually a compliment being Swiss italian and really picky with my cappuccino) The place is a cafe style, rally clean and modern. We had a great time... More

Went to J&C twice during recent visit to Montreal. First for dessert, then for brunch. Amazing chocolate, delicious crepes--both sweet and savory were great. Friendly service. Don't miss their chocolate dessert drinks and hot cocoa.

Arranged to take a group of 20 ladies for an evening of dessert. Upon arrival, a location had been reserved and set up. The assistant manager, Claire, was designated as the person responsible for us. Even though the restaurant was hopping with other customers, care was taken to tend to our needs. We were able to order and be served... More

Food ranged from good to fantastic (savory crepe with sun-dried tomatoes); something for everyone in the family; nice scene

we loved the resturant location and decoration , friendly wait staff but food was not that great, almost everything that we had was way too salty and in my opinion over price. I overheard the manager/owner asking people how much they want to spend on a side of smoked salmon! isn't there a fix price for that?

My husband and I enjoyed dessert here one night while on vacation in Montreal. My only regret is that we were too full from dinner to have more dessert than we did. I had a petit pot of some chocolates with brownie bits. Very good, very rich. My husband had a profiterole. Also delicious! Not sure if our waitress was... More

Stopped here for an afternoon treat of brownies and espresso. Lots of desserts to choose from but we came to enjoy their highly recommended assortment of brownies. The brownies were sooo good. Don't think of sharing, you'll want your own! Probably the best espresso I had in Montreal!!

then go no further. It's all here. One downside of the quality and variety is the atmosphere and service - but IT'S CHOCOLATE and lots of it. After our deserts arrived, we didn't really care about atmosphere or the slow service - we just ate slower and ordered more!

This place was recommended by friends as a must go. So after dinner one Saturday evening we decided to give it a try. The place was full and we had to wait outside. There were at least 20 people ahead of us. I generally would not have bothered to wait but this time I did. I figured the food must... More
