The hot chocolate was lovely and the crepes, oh my, tasted great! I highly recommend this place though the amount of food is not enough for the money paid.

So glad I found this place, we ate here multiple times on our holiday in Montreal. The food here is to die for. I loved EVERYTHING I order - and what I could sneak from my friend... shhh... The s'mores are a MUST HAVE. We ordered them twice. They have a large selection of crepes, waffles, chocolates, desserts and drinks... More

Oh the chocolate!!! Dark, rich and lovingly prepared. Don't miss the brownies or the Viennese Coffee! But first try the Buckwheat crepes (I had the spinach, egg and ham), my partner had the cheesecake crepes. Perfect for lunch so you can walk off the indulgence - my indulgence was the lemon raspberry trifle. Diet by damned - it was worth... More

We stopped in on a whim during a trip to Montreal. We didn't have time to stand in the [very long] line, so we popped in and grabbed some stuff [at random] to take with us. We had three brownies that were to die for, and grabbed a hot chocolate packet. I just made the hot chocolate and am keen... More

I adore this restaurant! It is such a cute little place! The white hot chocolate is delicious, and the sauce that goes with "le fleur de sel" brownie was amazing, I wanted to drink it (though it was tasty on the brownie)! My only complaint would be that the regular hot chocolate was a little bit gritty, but the white... More

My boyfriend and I went on Valentine's Day for brunch while we were visiting Montreal. Everything we got was so delicious. They have both French and English menus, but we muddled our way through the French version since I know enough to get by. They have a large menu, with a wide variety of chocolaty drinks, crepes, waffles, and desserts.... More

After a great dinner down the street stopping here for some chocolate was the perfect end to the evening. The atmosphere is great with exposed brick, free wifi, and comfortable chairs or nice tables. The selection of hot chocolate and deserts is phenomenal. Presentation is great as well when your food comes out. While it's not the cheapest place around... More

My husband and I went for dessert with another couple. I ordered my usual favorite fleur de sel brownie and my husband was feeling adventurous and ordered the red velvet cheesecake brownie. We were told that this was an off-menu item especially made for Valentine's Day so we were curious to try it since we are usually fond of red... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
