Get an ice cream sandwich!

Yum. I don't even like ice cream sandwiches usually but this one was delicious. Maybe a bit expensive for what it is though

on my trip to Montreal I stumbled on to this amazing cafe chain. I ordered their vintage hot chocolate and made with real cacao beans and frothed to perfection, it was so amazinng

Chocolate. Yes, we all love chocolate. This is a nice spot but i think a little expensive for the things they offer. One problem on the day we went, few staff available so we get longer waits.

I went with some true chocoholics! There are endless options on the menu; traditional fondues and cakes +, salads, beer, wine & cocktails. I enjoyed a lemon trifle with cubed chocolate brownies, whipped cream and raspberry coulis. Be prepared for a bit of a wait. The servers were pleasant. Perhaps not the place to go if you are in a... We were walking past the Ste Catherine location and decided to stop in. We had ice cream sandwiches on the patio and it was great!! The sandwiches were so good and come with warm chocolate sauce to dip them in. Unfortunately we don't have a location where we live otherwise I would be there all the time!

I ordered the ice cream and found it to be very average. My espresso arrived luke warm and the service was slow. Perhaps I ordered the wrong things on the menu, but I won't visit again.

My friend and I decided to try Juliette et Chocolat about a week ago after hearing that it was fantastic. We were disappointed. We were seated immediately upon arrival, yet once we sat we sat there for 20 minutes before anyone even came over to take our drink order. We almost left, however as we were about to leave someone... A chocolate lover's paradise. Came in out of the rain to this spacious dessert restaurant. We shared a dark chocolate fondue with a fruit plate. It was superb chocolate and not too sweet. My friend had a chocolate and ice cream dish with whipped cream. Similar to a chocolat mou. It really got lost in the whipped cream. Reasonably priced... More

Its definitely a Chocolate Heaven. I tried a trio platter which included: mini lava cake, mini salted caramel brownie bite, scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and mini thick hot chocolate.......it was all dreamy and delicious. If you love sugar rushes, it's a must.

We went to Juliette & Chocolat twice - once for lunch and dessert and then another time just for dessert. Overall, the place offers great chocolate desserts, drinks, and coffee. We also went there for lunch but the lunch offerings are very few - salads and buckwheat crepes - so skip the lunch and head directly for dessert. The dessert... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
