This was one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. Our friend, who dines here every time he's in Montreal, recommended this place and said it serves the best oysters and scallops in Canada. So my husband and I gave it a try. The exterior of the restaurant itself blends in with the surrounding buildings so it's hard to... More

The place is dark and cozy, definitely a winter gem, food is very good but not exceptional, service is excellent, what's missing is the decor, setting and the ambiance.

This is a real hidden gem that you are unlikely to find by just strolling around. The ambiance is very unusual and feels like a cross between being in a hunting lodge and a top quality restaurant. The food is expensive, as is the wine, but it is worth the outlay. We started with oysters a combination of raw and... More

This restaurant is amazing! The food is exceptional. It is very cozy and intimate. The lights are low. The music is low, but it could be a better choice. The menu is a bit pricey, but it is well worth it!

My husband and I made a last minute decision to go out for a nice meal and we have always wanted to eat at Le Club Chasse et Peche. Last Saturday we were finally able to get a last minute reservation so we decided to go for it. (Tip- book in advance as they usually are full) We arrived at... More

Food was phenomenal and service just as good. I enjoy such a restaurant were every dish is done perfectly and the service is right. Yes it is on the pricier end but I think they provide you with a good value. Will go again at this place in the future.

Wonderful meal from start to finish. The service is great! The risotto with pork and truffles is one of the best things I have ever eaten! I would recommend this place to anyone. Excellent wine list!

I had high expectations for the restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Service, ambiance, food, wine, all top tier. Seriously one of the best dining experiences ever. Their fois gras is not to be missed, and I look forward to a return visit (I would fly up to Montreal just to eat there, it is that great). Do not pass... More

We quite enjoyed our meal at this restaurant but having set some high expectations, we we a little underwhelmed. We felt that the quality and taste of the food was slightly above average while the price was considerably above average. The dessert, notably called "The Bomb" was something of a disappointment. On a more positive note, the presentation and service... More

My one experience of the Club Chasse et Peche Restaurant ranks as one of the best restaurant dinners I have ever had. The main reason is that everything was do just right, without excess. Service was friendly but unobtrusive, the waiter's description of the dishes and wines was knowledgeable without being pompous, the menu had just enough choices for the... More
