We asked them to make a special halibut dish to accommodate special dietary needs. They cheerfully provided a beautiful piece of fish with an array of fresh, colorful vegetables. I highly recommend the vegetable plate to complete your meal. It was extraordinary.

Very expensive restaurant with delicious food and cocktails (try the ginger martini!) They do not rush you to say the least- one course and drinks had us there for two hours!

Since my last visit ,people have asked me what is the best restaurant in the city and I would always boast Le Club Chasse et Peche! The front staff, aside from the jovial runners and busboys must have had an off night this time around. Arrived at the restaurant for my 5.45 reservation only to find the doors locked. Luckily... This is definitely a special occasion spot as many reviewers have mentioned - lucky for us, our first night in Canada seemed special! The location was a perfect setting for our maiden voyage around old Montreal. The quaint appearance is lovely and cozy. We were immediately struck by how kind and prompt the service was, and it continued all the... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we decided to make a reservation for our first evening in Montreal. This is a restaurant for a special occasion. It is very trendy, very expensive but the food is superb. It is quite noisy however so be prepared to speak loudly over dinner.

This place is lovely. The ambiance is well suited to couples or small groups wanting an intimate dining experience. Except for the noise. The acoustics of the place make it pretty noisy and at times difficult to quietly chat but everything else makes up for the noise. The food as the reviews all agree is really nice and the mushroom... This was one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. Our friend, who dines here every time he's in Montreal, recommended this place and said it serves the best oysters and scallops in Canada. So my husband and I gave it a try. The exterior of the restaurant itself blends in with the surrounding buildings so it's hard to... More

The place is dark and cozy, definitely a winter gem, food is very good but not exceptional, service is excellent, what's missing is the decor, setting and the ambiance.

This is a real hidden gem that you are unlikely to find by just strolling around. The ambiance is very unusual and feels like a cross between being in a hunting lodge and a top quality restaurant. The food is expensive, as is the wine, but it is worth the outlay. We started with oysters a combination of raw and... More

This restaurant is amazing! The food is exceptional. It is very cozy and intimate. The lights are low. The music is low, but it could be a better choice. The menu is a bit pricey, but it is well worth it!
