Amazing! Dragon sauce

Amazing food! Their dragon sauce is out of this world!! The portions are quite large, so you can even split between two people.

This is a must. Even if you are not a vegan, you will like the food at this restaurant. We found it on Yelp and it was so good that we ate there for lunch the first day and dinner the next night. The service was very nice and the menu has a lot of variety. I loved the cornbread.... More

Freshly made and tasty comfort food. Some of my favourites: dhal, sandwiches served in homemade chapatis such as the BLT(coconut bacon!), Mekong or the Chana. For dessert, I suggest a delectable brownie or a slice of uncheesecake. To finish off: freshly grated ginger herbal tea. Perfect on a cold winter's night. Includes some gluten-free options.

I have been to Aux Vivres several times over the past year and one thing I have to say in its favour is that the food is consistent. I have been on different days, at different times and whenever I have ordered a dish that I have had before it was just as good. My disclaimer is that I am... More

We came here for Sunday brunch and we picked this place from reviews. I had the brunch combo and expected more. The food was just okay. It wasn't awful. It wasn't the greatest. I had tofu scramble, tempeh bacon, cornbread, sweet potato, salad, and a small cup of coffee. Was I supposed to have coffee refills? They could have at... More

I went there a bit hesitant but it was so good. You don't mis anything you had before in anything in the menu. Also de juices are amazing, I had an apple ginger juice which I'll never forget.

So here I am running errands across town in the snow and I'm still driving with summer tires. It's taking twice as long to get anywhere. At noon, I'm half through with my errands and I'm starving. No time to sit and eat at the endless charming bistros. I spot a sign "Aux Vivres Resto Vegan" à apporter, on St.... More

We went back two nights in a row there were so many things from which to choose on the menu. The Chana Paratha was my favorite. The Chapati is baked when you order. My husband who is not a vegan was the one who said, "Let's go back again." Always good to combine healthy and yummy. Cant' go wrong with... More

Came recommended by family and it was clear this place was well established. The atmosphere was very diner/cafeteria style and that would be my only negative [could use a remodel] but perhaps they are going for the basic 'organic-student-nofrills' look. Burgers were great. Pancakes great. BLT great. Could use a few more non-soy products as it was difficult for my... More
