Chocolate!

I didn't think the review title needed much more! We came across Juliette et Chocolat quite by chance after dinner during a chilly walk back to our hotel. This place has amazing variety of hot chocolates and my favourite ones are dark!! I don't think the powdered version we get in North America classifies as hot chocolate and this place does it right with actual melted chocolate.. The way t is supposed to be!! In my opinion, it is the second best hot chocolate in the world after... More

This is a perfect place for chocolat lovers. There are dozens of options with... chocolat of course. I would say that non sweet options are just ok.

What a great experience. The best hot gourmet hot chocolate and crepe I have ever had. Cute atmosphere and fair pricing. Can't wait to try it again next time I'm in town!

The place itself is not attractive or looks cozy but its delicious, and has a lot of variety of chocolates. Service is OK.

It's never a good idea for a busy restaurant to leave customers waiting to be greeted and seated, much less have them continue to wait to be presented with menus and water. We sat for 15 minutes at our table before our waiter even glanced at us. That is unfortunate and marred our visit, for this is a chocolate lover's... More

We have been to Montreal for quick vacations several times now over the past 5 years and for some reason no one ever told us about this place....we finally discovered it in 2014 and oh my, thank God we did!! This is a chocolate lover's heaven, so many delicious selections and all with chocolate!! I would suggest not eating anything... More

I had lunch here with my sister as it was near our hotel. Very good buckwheat crepes-- food tasted fresh and healthy. My sister had a Nutella hot chocolate that was absolutely amazing. We also enjoyed cheesecake brownies for dessert. Our server was very friendly, but service was a bit slow (seemed like a cultural thing though, and we are... More

We arrived around 9:30PM, which seemed to be on the late side. We did have to wait maybe 15 minutes to be seated, but it was Valentines day. We both ordered savory buckwheat crepes that were absolutely delicious. For dessert, I had a raspberry chocolate dome that was so intensely flavored. It was a decent size portion, and it was... My friend and I went all the way down to downtown Montreal to have lunch. We paid the street parking lot and put 1h30 so that we could have time to eat, talk. However, it took 1h10 min to get our plates. We ordered 2 crepes. Our waitress did not served us water, only after 40 minutes we had been... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
