Chocolate galore but also the best crepe I've ever had

I got a savory (vegetarian) crepe and a drinking chocolate. I wasn't expecting much out of the crepe since it was a desert place. But the crepe was really amazing. They offer several different types of drinking chocolate (I got the Peru). It is a big drink even for a small and you will leave... read more

The chocolate fondant was really nice but the banana split was poor. The atmosphere could be better and the prices were a bit especially if your having a coffee too. For it to be just a desert place it should be a lot better.

We talked to a waitress as we elected a table outside at Juliette et Chocolat. Once we sat, we did not see anyone to serve us of about 10 minutes! Once someone came over, she was very friendly and took our drink order. water arrived, but our coffee and tea took several more minutes to arrive and by then the... More

This place has one of the most delicious hot chocolate, one should definitely try their old Grandma's style hot chocolate. We also ordered the banana split and the sundae which were equally delicious and mouth melting. Its quite a busy place.

There's a delightful range of chocolate delicacies for every chocolate lover. I had the L'Intense - chocolate on chocolate with chocolate on the side. My husband had a brookie - a chocolate chip cookie baked into a brownie. Also delightful - order milk and it comes in a little mini milk bottle!

Just found this place by chance, decided to try it for dessert after having a smoked meat sandwich nearby. It was so overwhelming we came back each of the following days just to have more. Everything on the menu has chocolate in it or is available with it, right on down to the salads, so yes you can come for... More

They have a vast selection of different types of hot chocolate. They are all very thick and creamy and incredibly filling. I had the grandmas hot chocolate and it was amazing. They also sell various chocolately desserts which all looked delicious, but I was too full to try any.

This place has amazing variety of hot chocolates and my favourite ones are dark!! I don't think the powdered version we get in North America classifies as hot chocolate and this place does it right with actual melted chocolate.. The way t is supposed to be!! In my opinion, it is the second best hot chocolate in the world after... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
