Every time I'm in Montreal, I always have one of my dinners at Steak Frittes. Love the atmosphere and we've been lucky to get a great server every time I'm there. I did change servers on my last visit. Life is too short to be served by rude servers. The menu is simple but hits every spot. For Meat, I... More

Came across this restaurant by chance. My Aunt and I had a very enjoyable meal there. This is a BYOB place - A shame there were no supermarkets nearby so that we could have bought ourselves a bottle of wine! We made do with water!!!

Stopped in for lunch with my wife. We had no reservation but it did not pose a problem even though the place was packed. It was holloween and it appeared to be full of locals, worker lunch crowd. The steak and fries I had was cooked to perfection, it was a very nice piece of beef, filet 5oz. My wife... More

Great family meal on a Sunday evening. Two of us ordered the Steak Frites. Meat cooked to perfection. Cheesecake at dessert time was to die for. Very attentive service and reasonably priced for a steak house.

We can here for dinner on a Saturday night. Although we had reservations, the table before us were late so their meal ran late, which meant we had to wait for our table. The menu doesn't provide a lot of options but all of them were good picks! All items on the menu comes in 'snack size' or 'regular', so... More

We were taken to this great little restaurant by a cousin living in Montreal, after a request for an authentically Quebecois meal. It didn't disappoint. Every course was delicious, and the waiting staff attentive and helpful. I would recommend the Filet Mignon St-Paul: it was juicy, and cooked perfectly medium-rare. My family also suggested the calamari starter, apparently one of... More

Food wasn't bad at this place, wasn't the best we had in Montreal but not bad. The spare ribs were very good. It is a "bring your own wine" restaurant and there is a wine store a few doors away which can help cut down on cost. It was nice sitting outside and watching the people walk by. The service... More
