Ok, let me start by saying Peruvian is my all time favorite food. I lived in Chile for 9 years and preferred to eat at many of the excellent restaurants run by Peruvian immigrants. So, I ordered some of my favorites from Mochica: ceviche and grilled octopus.i also tried something new: anticuchos de corazon. I drank two pisco sours as... More

This excellent restaurant was our first experience with Peruvian cuisine. The food was delicious, unique and beautifully presented. Chef Martine is a master at what he does, and clearly takes great pride in his homeland cuisine. The waitstaff was friendly, helpful and knowledgable. We were so imoressed that we went for 2 nights in a row! We can't say enough... More

Absolutely brilliant food and service. Started the evening with a pisco sour, which we have to get a recipe for, as it was legendary. For the meal, we decided to go with the 'menu degustation de mer' and everything was delicious. The quinoa with ricotta cheese with camarones a la parilla were to die for. The whole food experience was... More

For a nice and efficient dinner before a show, my wife and I went to Mochica,on a friend's recomendation. An excellent idea. The alpaga carpaccio was every bit as good as any in Agentina, the tuna and corvina also very good. The waiter was helpful and made sure we made it on time to the theater. No hesitations about going... More

High quality, great service and an amazing cuisine. Star with a classic drink: Pizco sour to warm up, also highly recommend the tasting menu ( 5 plates) and tasting entrees

We dined here during the labor day long weekend with a friend. Previously had some fantastic Peruvian food in NY state. The waiter was friendly and helpful with suggestion. The house cocktail with Pisco and lime juice was great. The restaurant specializes in seafood. We shared a ceviche which was fishy and the lime juice was bitter (like the rinds... More

After been numerous times to Peru and having fallen in love with their cuisine we've looked for Peruvian restaurants in Toronto. Utter disappointment. So we've been going to NYC to La Mar and dreaming of something closer to home.... And then we went to Montreal and found this gem. The chef is great, the staff is friendly, the interior is excellent... More

Went last night with my wife and had the 6 course meat meal as well as grilled octopus and two ceviche dishes. Absolutely phenomenal, and the uniqueness of the flavours really shined through. I would definitely go back as I have always been a huge fan of ceviche, and having other dishes I had never had in a Peruvian restaurant... More
