I'm writing this review more as a New Year's Eve experience than just a normal high end restaurant meal. While vacationing at the Hotel St. Sulpice just a few blocks away, we inquired with the concierge about a good place for food, wine, and music on New Year's Eve. L'Autre Version was one of a few recommended options, and I'm... More

Very good food. Not a huge variety but something for everybody. Excellent service, they explained the dishes well and were happy to accommodate request for small alterations. Did not like the bathroom. Too dark and although the sink has a neat design it is simply not practical.

I have heard great things about this place - honestly, up until the entree' everything was great. Service was good, their special cocktails were good - I recommend the pepper infused caesar. For me, they really fell short on the entree' - I ordered the Venison, and it came out as a fine cube, with a texture similar to that... More

the food here is a work of art and delicious.... plus its very romantic! The portions are small, but it gives you an opportunity to order many items, and each plate is its own work of art. Its really a treat~

It wasn't the best food I've had, but it was good. They give you warm bread with pepper spread to begin which I really liked. The amuse bouche of goat cheese, some kind of jelly was good too. Our appetizer was the Burrata which was goat chees wrapped in mozzarella with various jellies, purees I really enjoyed too. My main... More

My wife and I had an absolutely terrific evening last weekend at L'Autre Version. We did the full tasting menu with wine pairing, which I would highly recommend. Every single course was simply sublime. We do these type of tasting menus in many restaurants during our travels and this was one of the top ones. The restaurant could easily get... More

Dinner here was wonderful, the space was lovely. The staff was incredible, extremely attentive and took the time out to explain each dish on the menu. When our plates came they would go over each element explaining the ingredients and preparation. The attention to detail was fantastic as was the food which was well thought out and beautifully prepared. Each... More

Went on a Sat night. 7:30-8 pm. Had no problem getting a reservation for 2 persons in early Sept. The space is fine, noisy up front--simply due to poor accoustics...not due to noisy people...reasonably attractive, nothing special... lighting in the back area is good. The food is kind of limited in scope. Quite small portions, esp. for the prices, I... More
