Mmmm....

What to order? So many choices? I finally picked strawberry shortcake. Not a cheese person. Either fruity or chocolaty. Having a bit of asian influence and the cute fetish for the pretty strawberry shortcake....well well...the white cake was very moist like drizzled with sweet sugar syrup. A middle... read more

If you have a sweet tooth, I definitely recommend going to Rockaberry to satisfy your craving. The portions are very large and the taste is ever better. You're getting quality and quantity all in one. It's the perfect place for dessert! It is a little pricey but it is definitely worth it!

We were told they have the best deserts so we stopped in after just eating a great meal. OMG the choices were amazing. I had the strawberry shortcake, wife had the pecan pie slightly warmed. We all left with smiles on our faces and bellies full.

It took me a long time to choose. Theres so many flavors. My head was spinning. Most people who is not a fan of cheese will have to pick something fruity or chocolaty. I find truffles very seductive. However,I end up getting the strawberry shortcake. It was sweet syrup moist cake,a light almost creamy custard taste in the middle and... More

Rockaberry Café is remembered as one of my best experiences during my 4-week trip to Canada and the US. I came there with my family for a light dinner, which was very nice: Rockaberry had a large variety to choose from; everything was fresh and tasty, and the service was very friendly. The sweet finale of the evening was unforgettable:... More

This place has the absolute BEST cheesecake in the world. It's very light and creamy. There are several varieties, but the best are the plain cheese, the Oreo and the apple. (A few (the caramel fudge) have brownie base, but the brownie was nothing special.) Coffee, tea available, but this is just average. The star attraction is the dessert case.... More

We really stopped for pie, but we also ordered lunch since it was late in the afternoon and we hadn't eaten since an early breakfast. The lunch was fine; nothing terrible or problematic, just nothing to write home about either. The pies were phenomenal. I had the Rockaberry Brownie a la mode. You can skip the a la mode, since... My friend and I went to Rockaberry on St Denis; we weren't ready for the pies immediately so we ordered a tea and a coffee in the beginning. We received our order however, the owner told us "If you do not order more stuffs, then you cannot stay here. I have other people who is waiting for tables." I looked... More

This year my family opted for a birthday pie rather than a cake, I love chocolate and they have a wide variety of chocolate pies but I am becoming a fan of their raspberry crumble pie!

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
